The rooms are very clean, and housekeeping are thorough. In-room amenities include tea/coffee making facilities, and a TV with Freeview channels. High Speed Internet is available in-room for a fee. WiFi is available in the bar area for the use of guests at no extra cost. Room service is available, or you may dine in the restaurant. Full breakfast may also be included in the room tariff. The staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to please. Being in the heart of Warwick, it is a prime location for sight seeing, or just enjoying the charms of this historic town. All in all, a positive experience. Now for my criticisms...the night staff need help! The door is generally locked around 11pm each night, at which point you are to ring the door bell for assistance (e.g. if you are coming in after a night out at one of Warwick's many eateries or pubs). Unfortunately the night porter is also tasked with cleaning the lounge area. Often times he is unable to hear the bell over the vacuum cleaner. The upshot of this is that you're stuck standing outside waiting for the bell to actually be heard! A minor annoyance, but they might do well to engage a person to handle the late night cleaning so the night porter can focus on tending to the guests.

The entire staff is great. I would really recommend any travelers because this is a prime location. I wouldn't mind staying here again just purely for the location.

Charlecote Pheasant Hotel - Scones with jam (jelly really) and proper clotted cream

Stopped in here for a snack after a couple hours walking around Charlecote Park. Surprising that…read morethere was no pass-thru from Charlecote Park parking lot to the entry to the restaurant - we ended up going over and under the wooden fences to cut across, but most people would have to walk around... Ordered hot beverages (an Americano, a tea and a cappuccino) and scones with clotted cream and jam (though we received jelly). Clotted cream was the real deal and the scones were fresh baked, served on piping hot trays. Much better than they looked and exactly what we wanted. Giving them a three-star rating based solely on the very slow service - We were told 'this is how it always is' and they were quite busy, but count on being there roughly an hour if you want a cake or scones and coffee/tea. The restaurant has a full restaurant and you could easily have a meal, a beer or any combo. Lots of comfy seating too. A little odd that it's part of a hotel, but it's the nearest place to eat outside of the Orangery in Charlecote Park, which was totally packed when we tried to go there instead. Well worth the effort if you are in the area and peckish!

My boyfriend and I had a very pleasant stay here last weekend. As the room was a gift, I can't…read morecomment on the pricing. However, our room was one of the more luxurious - I've seen the standard rooms and they're easily half the size! Our room had a four poster bed with curtains, several places to sit including a little loveseat, large windows with curtains that could be drawn closed, a glass door with direct outside access in addition to the front door connected to a corridor, separate tub and shower with very nice hot water, large sink, towel heater, many TV channels, coffee/tea selection, and breakfast included in the morning. The rooms get quite warm but we slept very comfortably in the massive bed. It's nice to have a bar/restaurant adjoining although I'd recommend going out into the towns for meals. Free breakfast was always a bit lacking - forgetful servers, improperly cooked eggs, etc. A lovely place to stay for a weekend in Stratford or Warwick. Easily drivable to both towns. In a very rural area so you can't walk to anything and it's VERY dark at night. Ample parking, and I think they had a pool though I can't imagine it's ever warm enough to swim! Free wifi too, but you need a separate password for each device you use. It was a bit dodgy on the ground floor but worked better upstairs oddly. I'd happily stay here again if I was in the area. Spring for one of the nicer rooms if you find it affordable, I imagine it'll be quite worthwhile!

It was a good size, and the bathroom was really nice with handheld shower head extension and a nice sink. The only downside was that the bath was only half enclosed, so it is really easy for water to get on the floor. The refrigerator was really small and wasn't kept very cold. Breakfast was really nice. It's slightly pricey but nice. We purchased a full English breakfast. Everything was really good. It was but pricey overall and they added more because we had our son. Another downside is bringing your luggage in and out. It was not easy going up and down stairs with 20-25 kg bags. There are no elevators.

Free Wi-Fi really fast! 5. Restaurant & bar, fabulous. 6. Front desk service. 7. FREE Cotswold chocolates, also provided in your room along with tea & coffee. They even filled my Contigo hot drink holder! 8. Lots of buffet breakfast selections. 9. Hot foods in the menu. 10. Lots of staff avail. to help. 11. View to the garden, from our bedroom. 12. Able to open windows for some fresh air. Negatives: 1. Bathroom too dark to put makeup, even with magnifying mirror a plus, but you can't see. 2. Drapes lining all ripped. 3. Seat cushions too low, padding worn out? I put a pillow on, but still too low for the desk. 4. Stairs not handicapped access. 5. Even though we've closed the windows by the time we went out for dinner, the room, was still cold, even the sheets were cool after sleeping a good night sleep (for me). So, it must be a perfect temperature, since I slept the longest from this hotel!

The only reason I rated it a 4* is due to the lack of Air Conditioning. I was on an international business trip and couldn't sleep for 2 nights due to it being so hot, not used to just having a fan. Also, the hot water stopped working one morning and the reactions made it seem just par for the course for the staff. Now on to the good stuff. The Staff is beyond excellent. Sama in the dining room, Isabel at the Front desk, the porters and many many more people. Service with a smile, went out of their way all the time, simply fantastic. The hotel itself is beautiful. Open grounds, amazing views, just want you need to relax. The big surprise was the food. Sencha, the Asian restaurant was a nice surprise. Small-ish portions, but great food. Not one bad dish out of the 2 times we ate there. Then there was The Dining Room tasting menu. Holy moly, we've eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants before, this was definitely up there. Superb food, I can definitely see it getting a Michelin star if they adjusted their seasoning. And came up with better than Sorbet for a dairy free dessert, my pet peeve. Also, big shout out to Sama and then team for finding me vegan butter for breakfast. I've never had that happen in a decade! Amazing trip. Please get some AC and we'd love to visit again!

The Mallory is a one hundred year old upscale boutique hotel in the countryside with a wonderful restaurant featuring some fabulous gourmet cuisine. After our delicious appetizers of Dressed Cornish Crab and a Crispy Duck Egg w/ fixins, a business colleague and I both chose fish for our dinner selections: he, the Pan-Roasted Stone Bass and I, the Escalope of Cornish Cod. Both dishes were nicely complimented with a unique veggie and sauce selection. We finished our 3-course dinner with an order of Caramelized White Chocolate Mousse as well as an order of 53% Chocolate Delice w/ banana and peanut butter. Wash all this goodness down w/ a bottle of an Italian Pinot Grigio and you've won a gold metal. Five stars and highly recommended.
