I can not say enough great things about Katie. She painted faces for three hours straight at my daughter's fourth birthday party. Each and every design was unique and extremely well executed. All of the parents loved her work so much so that a few of them also had their faces done. I want to have another party just so we can get some more face painting! Not only is Katie's work amazing but: 1. Her booking/payment system is easy to use. 2. She was communicative during the entire process. 3. She showed up on time wearing a beautiful gown which wowed the children. 4. Her set up is something to see! So many paints and sparkles! I was so fortunate to find Katie for our annual halloween party. In the past my husband and I have had major aspirations about how we wanted to do our makeup but with all the other last minute details around the party we were never able to pull it off. Katie was on time and really fun to work with. She has lots of professional products and tools that I'd never seen before. We ended up with amazing makeup (Skull and Crow) that stayed on all night and didn't remove a layer of skin when it was time to wash it off. Hope to work with her again! read more

I booked Katie for my bachelorette party after getting my face done by her at Piano Fight's Valentine's Day variety show. Katie's facepaint was the perfect ice breaker for an evening of dinner and dancing with a bunch of ladies who are all a lot of fun, but don't know each other extremely well. I invited all the ladies to my house for the pre-party where everyone got to know each and get excited for their turn in the makeup chair. In less than 2 hours, Katie did the makeup for more than a dozen of us and all my friends loved her! She was extremely professional, organized, and quick to set up and breakdown. Consider Gleam for your next bachelorette, office team building event, or adult birthday party! We were a beautiful gaggle of girls running all over the city with the best makeup ever! read more

Gleam - Bachelorette pre-party makeup! - Face Painting Near Me

We hired Katie for my daughter's 5th birthday party (sort of last minute) but we are so happy she was available! Katie was punctual and brought everything she needed with her. She has a very professional looking makeup table with all her painting tools and a tall black directors chair for the person getting their face done to sit in. Having everything she needed meant this one one less thing we had to set-up/provide!! As far as artistry, she was exactly what we wanted. She could make fine, detailed painted images and used glitter and iridescent paints!! Our theme was My Little Pony and she painted a Pinkie Pie (my daughter's favorite pony) on her face!! It was great that she asked us ahead of time what the theme was. The other kids asked for a range of different designs which she happily accommodated: a painting of a girl's French Bulldog, Tinkerbell, butterflies, tiger, shark arm painting, rainbows... Our guests also commented that she was very sweet and she even wore this cute flower crown that made even the shy little ones comfortable. We would definitely hire her again! If you're still debating on which local face painter to hire, look no further. She's the one! read more

I hired Katie (Gleamify) to paint faces at an anniversary celebration for the venue where I work, and she blew me away. She was flexible with our schedule, easy to communicate with, and brought a whole array of artistic flair to make the face painting that much more special. We are an all ages venue, and Katie worked amazingly with kids as young as 3, and with adults much much older than that :) And everyone got exactly what they wanted - she was creative, gentle, and thoughtful, creating a unique look for everyone. Having people walk around with their faces painted added such an element of playfulness and openness to the celebration that I was pleasantly surprised to see! I would highly recommend adding Gleamify to any event! Birthday, dance party, dinner party, etc. You don't know how much face painting can add to an event until you've seen your boss with face fully painted, smiling so wide, inventing mythical stories to describe the creature that has been painted on him. read more

We hired Katie for my 6 year old daughter's birthday at our home. Katie showed up, dressed in a flowing dress and face paint and carryying a 5 foot long case, meticulously organized and filled to the gills with s staggering display of face painting accoutrements. We hired her for 1-1/2 hours and she polished off individual face painting designs for 10 kids who were all tickled pink by their designs. Every single adult commented on how great a job Katie did for the kids. Katie is very responsive, easy to communicate with and is reasonably priced. Online payments make it easy too. Highly recommended! read more

Katie made my 30th Birthday one of the best parties that myself and my many guests had ever been to! Once I checked out her instagram, I knew I had to have her (https://www.instagram.com/100daysofgleam). Her designs were so original and she really excelled at painting to match the theme of my party: "Sparkle Fantasy". She even dressed to match the theme! She showed up with a variety of metallic paints, glitter, gems, gold leaf, tons of colors and probably 30 different brushes to give every party-goer (40+ adults) a completely unique design. Katie was incredibly sweet, intelligent and such a great people-person. She chatted up everyone of my guests (and it was an incredibly diverse group). I applaud Katie for a job well done! Myself and my guests would definitely hire her again. read more

We Hired Katie for My daughters 9th birthday! all i can say is AMAZING! The kids were all sooooo happy, my daughter was thrilled my father was excited lol there was happiness all around! The paint was great quality, she had tons of it, it lasted on their faces for a long time, considering they had a water balloon fight and it was hot out. I cant express how content i was with the service, my 6 year old has already booked her for her birthday party in November! Thanks for the great time! read more

Katie is extremely talented, very charismatic, a true professional, and was wonderful for our 3-4 year old birthday party. She set up in a professional manner, had a great client demeanor, and was the highlight of the party even with a slip n slide and a giant bouncy house castle. We had 2 year olds to 72 year olds getting their face painted. We were lucky enough to extend her time since she was so popular and everyone commented on how good her designs looked. I gave her name and number to numerous friends who were all asking for her to do their kids' parties. Would absolutely recommend and use again! read more
