He explained that the door would need more extensive work and gave us an estimate of $1,200-$1,600 for the additional repairs. He was super respectful and while he was here he explained the design mistake I was about to make and saved me from myself. His price was for 1/2" glass (as opposed to the 3/8" all the competitors quoted) and still beat them out. A tech was sent out to measure and provide an estimate (sorry cannot remember his name) he quoted for all 6 pieces as I asked but told me I only needed to change 2 if I was going to do any of it. The 2 main pieces had dust and dirt in between the panes so I could never get the window clean. After I decided to move forward I scheduled the install and Marlo showed up and was very professional and polite. He did the job very quickly and when he was removing the 2 old glass panes we discovered that they had completely failed as the outer pieces of glass separated from the inner spacer in effect leaving me with single pane glass.
