Knowing that the frame and artwork were pretty pricey (but not our personal tastes) I asked Allied about installing a mirror in the frame. $75 later we have a beautifully framed mirror. Customer service was great when I dropped off my frame, but the follow-up when my project was done was non-existent. When I dropped off my frame at the beginning pf April I was told it was a 10-15 day turn-around time. No problem. About the 3-week mark, when I hadn't received a call, I emailed. Sure enough, our mirror was done. I'm sure they would have called me at some point, but I don't feel like it was my responsibility to reach out to them. I live in Iowa City and had a hard time finding someone to do this kind of job. Allied Glass came recommended by someone, so I didn't mind the travel. Recommend for their ability to provide a large number of services and reasonable pricing.

We also had them make some custom glass table tops for our wood kitchen table and another decorative half moon table. Scott was wonderful to work with and he was able to show us all the options for metal and glass that we could use along with knobs and towel bars that could be added to the doors. Scott quickly came out to measure the shower openings so he could place the glass order. It does take some time for the glass to come in but they were able to install the standard glass door in about 3 weeks while it took longer for a fancier custom glass which was about 6-8 weeks. They did a great job installing the shower doors and worked neat and cleanly. The glass table tops also turned out well and fit the exact size of the tables. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for custom glass work and I will use them again for future work.
