This is a nice restaurant on a cape with view across the water, surprisingly picturesque for being so close to the industrial area of Södertälje.
To sum it up, this place has good but not great food - and excellent service. If it wasn't for that excellent service this review would feature only two stars.
We were a party of six and already on the phone (when we ordered the table) we got a good impression - the staff was very forthcoming and friendly.
The place is a little bit tacky in the entrance and around the bar but the tables and the chairs are nice and comfy. Someone said this was a typical Christmas dinner place and I can see that - it's suitable for groups but it's also a pretty good place to have a romantic dinner for two.
Food was "80%" - it felt like the kitchen knew how to make good food but they didn't bring it home completely, always falling short on some detail. Too little salt on the deer, creme brûlée that felt fridge stored, coca cola that was lukewarm.
Again - good but not great food, excellent service. Jens, our waiter (who either is the head waiter or runs the place) was super friendly and a real jokester. This place could get four stars if they just put in a little more effort on the food side. read more
