It appears to be the same building as Premier Inn, it's just that if you go in the door close to the water it's called Moxy, and if you go inside the door on the opposite side it's called Premier Inn. About 2 blocks out the Premier Inn side is a giant pedestrian area with hundreds of shops and a giant functioning mall, the way malls used to be in the 1980s in the USA. There's a dollar store called Poundland, a Walmart like store called Primark, there's a Marks and Spencer (like Target), John Lewis ( like Bloomies or Nordstrom). Down the road, along the sea, is a pub from the 1300s called Dancing Man Woolen Mill that had centuries of character.

The hotel suggested we take a cab but we managed to pull our 24 inch luggage from the hotel. We cut through the Holiday Inn parking lot. I wouldn't recommend you walking unless you're very mobile. It took us under 15 minutes. We enjoyed the hotel. Very upbeat. We noticed a photo booth on the mezzanine and table tennis. We had a choice of 500 points or food credit $10 per person. I took the food credit as we were going to eat before leaving for the terminal the next morning. Spent about another $12 USD out of pocket. Standard breakfast food options. We also had hotel bar food for dinner the day we checked in after the two fish and chip places suggested by the hotel didn't work out. Ordered: * hubby had chicken wings * I had Mac n cheese balls * BIL had chicken curry * sis had egg rolls We each were given a free cocktail voucher. It was like a fruit punch. Also got local beer. There's a shopping center across the street. It was a Sunday so stores closed early.

Order chick wings which came with crudites but dirty celery. Report going into environmental health on Monday. Breakfast not available till 8 am. Bacon cold. Hash browns cold everything else barely warm. Again report going into food safety agency on Monday. Avoid the food on site. Decor dated and worn out carpets. In short. A nasty place to stay. Also left on the corridor was a breakfast tray which has jam marmalade etc. on it which also led me to believe the detritus had been on the corridor for some time Risk - Older guests who could not see the glasses due to poor eye sight could have slipped tripped and fell and had severe lacerations Issue 2 - Evening meal served with dirt on it I went past the bar glasses and dirty dishes and went to the restaurant to be told that they had "just seated 14 guests" and there would be significant delay in serving food I would be best to go to the bar and order there - I did to be told only starters, pizza and pasta available. I order chicken wings with crudités and a mixed meat pizza. The chicken wings arrived but the crudités still had dirt on the celery see photo attached. Risk unwashed / uncleaned salad could infect someone with bad food poisoning Issue 3 - Cold / not well reheated food - meat items breakfast I had paid for breakfast the night before and went down to eat - waited 30 mins for the restaurant to open - 730 am - 8 am. Then helped myself to the breakfast buffet - the bacon served was cold the bacon was folded over the thin bit of the rasher underneath as if it had come out of the fridge and not been warmed through but left under the warming lights , the hash brown potatoes cold, the sausages luke warm, the beans, eggs, mushrooms also luke warm - I think this is contrary to food safety in the UK as all meat should reheated to a specific temperature 75 degrees Celsius? before served? Risk - under heated food could also lead to food poisoning from bacteria.

From the get go Brian was super friendly and professional, even taking in his stride when another vendor let me down, having a knock on effect on the journey from a different hotel to my venue - he was so understanding and helped to make me less stressed! Communication was so easy and he was great at letting me know everything i needed to know for the day (timings etc, where was the best place for him to pick me up at the hotel for the best pics, the lot!!). He produced bottles of water for us for the journey and helped me with my dress and bouquet getting in and out of the car and also right up to the building we were getting married in at the venue - it was like having my own chauffeur, butler and handmaid rolled into one - Brian, you simply are a gem!! I cannot recommend Cathedral Cars highly enough, I can't say a single negative thing about my experience with them - except that it was over all too quickly!! Shocking behaviour, exceptionally Rude…read more My partner and i came across one of their cars parked outside a venue in Fareham and went over to enquire about hire for our wedding. We approached smiling and i put out my hand to shake the drivers hand while introducing myself only to be met with crossed arms and an arrogant and condescending stare for about 15 seconds while i explained who i was and why i was coming over, hand still held out in front of me. It wasn't until the guy realised he could sell us something that he then proceeded to uncross his arms and go to fetch a brochure. Needless to say this was stunningly rude and grimy behaviour. The look alone was just shocking, without the wait to see if he felt i was worth him uncrossing his arms to shake my hand! So if arrogant used car salesman is the vibe your going for on your wedding day, cathedral Cars is for you. With so many options with better cars and more affordable prices in the area, we'll unsurprisingly be booking with someone else.

I have booked a taxi 3 times in the past 6 months. On one occasion my flight from America landed almost an hour early. The driver was there waiting for me. I had phoned for the taxi just over an hour before leaving to catch my flight and they were able to accomodate me. On another trip, my wife had dropped her prescription bottle in the taxi as she got out. The driver spotted it and rushed in to Southsea Hovercraft Terminal to give it back to her just before she boarded the Hovercraft. I have met many different drivers over the years, all have been very friendly, very safe drivers and always insist on helping with any luggage. For as long as I need to travel back and forth to America I will continue to use Sunny Travel and have recommended them to friends and family. Well done Sunny Travel.
