I got my gf to switch over to her from her current PCP. And my gf is happy with her. 1) No wait time 2) You ONLY see Dr. Lu and not some medical assistant 3) They don't rush you in and out as if you were cattle trying to you milk you and your insurance for money 4) She totally devotes her time to you. She'll answer all of your questions and concerns. At first, I was skeptical because I thought she was too young and inexperienced. She proved me wrong. She actually gives a shit whether or not you want to hear it. 5) Co-pay. When my gf asked if she had a co-pay, the receptionist told her no. My gf's former PCP required her to pay a $10 co-pay.

He is extremely thorough and explains things in detail so that you know what is going on every step of the way. He is extremely knowledgeable and respected by other doctors (a specialist at New York-Presbyterian recommends him as a top notch pediatrician). His office manager, Susan, is also fantastic....professional, caring and courteous. We will be so sad when my daughter ages out of Dr. Darr's care. On a whim, I called dr.ali's office and explained that I had a sick baby, and wondered if they took sick visits for non-established patients. Receptionist said 'come right down!'. Hardly ever would you find an office who would do that. Now, the wait time to see dr.ali was tremendous and his office waiting room is Small, standing room only! We waiting WELL over and hour, but it was worth it bc dr. Ali was wonderful, truly a caring person, and a very knowledgeable pediatrician. He took some in office tests and immediately told me the baby had a stronger strain of the flu! He put me on a regime of meds to control her high temps and made me come back in 2 days so he could re-check her! He really cares you get that vibe from him instantly. Very thankful that he helped my sick baby and would recommend him to anyone!
