Some of the girls at work had been raving about this salon, and since I'm new to the area, I decided to give them a try. I wasn't sure if they were appointment-only, so I called, and the sweetest lady answered the phone and was kind enough to squeeze me in for their last appointment of the day. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I was immediately greeted, and I honestly could not get over how beautiful, clean, and inviting the salon was. The level of kindness from everyone was something I haven't experienced at a nail salon before. I believe the woman who helped me when I came in was named Tammy or Thalia -- please forgive me for not remembering! She was SO sweet. She took the time to explain the different services they offer and even pre-scheduled my next appointment for me. The fact that she took the initiative to do that, while also accommodating me at the very end of their day, meant so much. I had Nuri for my Russian manicure, and she was absolutely wonderful! My nails were hurting badly from the crack, and she was incredibly gentle and patient with me. The amount of care she put into cleaning my cuticles was impressive. She filed and shortened my nails exactly how I wanted them, and I never once felt rushed. You can tell they genuinely take pride in their work. And the COLOR SELECTION! The choices are endless. I don't know how I'm ever supposed to pick a color! This was also my first experience with a Russian manicure, and I genuinely don't think I can go back to a regular manicure now. Russian manicure is definitely the way to go! Another huge plus for me is that they accept credit cards as well as Zelle/Venmo. As a corporate girly who is constantly on the run and rarely carries cash, I absolutely appreciate that! The salon is also conveniently located not too far from the hospital, which makes it even better for me. I'm naturally very shy, but these ladies made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. You can tell they are incredibly hardworking and truly care about their clients and the experience they provide. I already can't wait for my next appointment! I'm looking forward to trying their Russian pedicure, and I definitely want to come back for a facial, brows, and lashes too. I originally was supposed to do my eyelashes yesterday but something came up. She was nice enough to squeeze me into the schedule today before my photoshoot and it's honestly greatly appreciated! I can't wait to see how my eyebrows will look tomorrow. Today, I got the silk eyelashes w C-curl (90 pieces on each side). I chose the cat eye look for a more dramatic look. I also loved how they had us sign a couple of papers and had us read some of the terms and conditions prior to getting the eyelashes done because I found out that the glue had some latex in it. I'm allergic to latex but it's not to a point where a small amount is a huge concern. It's definitely important to let them know of any allergies you might possibly have before getting anything done to your face! I was nervous of the lashes falling out in an awkward way, as I obviously did not want uneven lashes. I called the Luxurious Studio last minute after I'd read some great reviews. They were booked but agreed to Come in early just to see me. Wow. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with them just for that. Honestly , this might seem crazy, but I began to like them more and more as they started thinning out! They look so natural even today and it's been over a month! The one thing I would change is that I wish in the beginning they looked a bit more natural but honestly this studio still definitely deserves 5 stars because I know most people don't care if they look natural considering the price tag. 100% worth it. The first time, the woman gave me perfect dark lashes that lasted the usual amount of time. She was efficient, the salon is lovely, and I was eager to return. If I'd written this review then, it would've been glowing. The second time was a different woman. She was very kind, but the experience and results were awful. She took over an hour to simply tint my lashes. This is usually a 15-20 minute process. I was the only customer at the time, so it's not because she was busy tending to others. She initially applied the protective patches on my skin under my eyes but then removed them for most of the process. I had dark dye stains on the skin under my eyes through the next day. She didn't apply the dye the full length of my lashes, so I still had blond at the base. The color lasted less than a week (it usually stays for a month). It was a complete waste of time and money.

I had to go somewhere else and pay to have all the filler taken out. The other place told me the filler was "not placed right." One time I heard her arguing with her staff, it doesn't get any more unprofessional than that. She listed herself as a celebrity injector, I'm curious what celebrities she has injected.
