I was fortunate to have Ashley who is very knowledgeable, attentive, and sincere! I did see another comment that normally a dermaplane is a stand-alone treatment and you have to add on. This was not the case, I had a full spa facial in addition to the dermaplane, exfoliation, facial massage, treatment, red-light therapy. Ashely was very attentive the entire time and so pleasant. I've had hundreds of facials throughout my life; some very high end, this was one of the best. I can't wait to go back!

I have dreadlocks so I didn't think they would be able to work on my head, but they did and it was so relaxing... the 30 mins massage was just right, but next time I'm going for the 60 mins head and 60 mins massage. The place is clean and smells amazing. The people are super friendly. They even blow dry your hair after your hair treatment.

Upon arriving you're greeted at the door, where you are given hand sanitizer and your temperature is recorded.. then you are to fill out a COVID-19 form and sign in. Me and a gf of mine had both made appointments. There were only 2 clients besides us and the salon was following safe social distancing. I got a Gel mani and pedicure and both were amazing, definitely recommend the 10 minute massage as well. All nail techs were wearing face masks, face shields and being very clean. My nails came out great and I was very impressed ! The ambiance is definitely relaxing as well. I will recommend and return for another visit.

The longer: Nimia was busy when I got in- she was doing rainbow highlights for a young girl, painting the roots of another woman, and answering phones. This tiny spot is tidy & clean- it's homey. There I were two employees on a Saturday afternoon. Nimia & another woman- who ended up doing my blowout. The woman was lovely, but didn't speak much English, so Nimia translated for her. She washed & blew dry- it took a bit longer than normal blow drys, but she was thorough and seemed really focused on giving me a great dry. Thanks, Nimia & team!

They don't seem to have the bells and whistles of some other salons, like vibrating / massage chairs , and disposable plastic liners for the tub for pedicures. But the place is clean. Chairs are comfortable. Love the warm booties they put on your feet with cream or paraffin in it. You don't sit under a table to dry your feet. Instead, they bring a little fan to your feet in the more comfortable chair. Yao was excellent. They have a salon in Brooklyn as well. I struggled with writing this review for a couple of months…read more 1) Yelp has this notification or message to please accommodate businesses during COVID. 2) Yelp also sends another message to look at and like/ acknowledge other reviews by other consumers for the same establishment. I did not read the 3 recent Yelp reviews from other customers who had really bad experiences with this Salon. Deepika - " poor and rude customer service", chasing down a nine month pregnant woman. Shreya " ruined, destroyed". Jaswinder " sheer waste of money" These are words from their reviews. My mother knows the owners for 40 years and meets them on a regular basis at parties, lunches, card games and get togethers. My mother is blind in her right eye. Her vision and perception are hence hindered. I drove her to the salon for her cut n color appointment with the owner Nina L. Nina had her daughter Evina handle it. The other owner/partner Vineet's father, manager and front desk counter person Mr Darshan ( goes by Deekay) N was very polite and welcoming. I was told to come back after 90 minutes which I did. He told me not to forget her winter cap as it was really cold. Very considerate. It took about two hours. I paid the $94 in cash ( Yelp 10 percent discount so $105 total minus the $11, plus a $33 cash tip plus a box of Lindt truffles that I had picked up in Switzerland). Got home and then actually looked at her head carefully. She had been butchered. ( see both photos). Her scalp was showing. The hair was cut way too short. The color was lighter than she requested and normally got. I took photos. I went back with the photos 2 days later. When I mentioned the issues, the really nice Manager Mr N ( owner Vineet's father) snapped, I mean yelled at me" What are you showing me this for ? I am not the aesthetician.". I politely asked for Nina L. She got flustered and denied everything. " Her hair was already like this". " This is what your mother wanted" etc. It took every ounce, every fiber of self control in my being not to say anything, not to react! I waited and stood there and she eventually did say, " I am sorry!". I responded " Is that it?" She then stated " Oh ok, I will fix it!", then turned and walked away. I counted to ten, smiled, waved and walked out. We did not go back, even for the free fix it.
