A dear friend of the Dr. referred me, so I assumed I was in good hands. Boy was I wrong. TWO MAJOR…read moreISSUES! First: my daughter had surgery in the summer & finally, I was scheduled for mine for Nov. 1, 2021. For my daughter's surgery... she did NOT end up with anything close to what she had specifically asked for. In fact, he didn't address her primary reason for doing the surgery AND her "results" are only somewhat maintained by basically staying in shape-wear--which has NOTHING to do with her surgery. The friend who referred us told her to make an appt. to go over the results & express her frustration. They tried to convince her she looked great & should be happy with the results-- which was just some lipo in a couple of areas--not what she went in for and NOT worth the large amount they charged her. REALLY?! A college aged student forks over her savings for a specific procedure... which was NOT delivered... and you want to convince her she should be happy with what she ended up with OR REPAY the ENTIRE amount to "fix it"?! Ridiculous. I told her to not go back for the "fix" and was considering not doing my procedure with them. However, my friend told me what I was going in for (tummy tuck post two years-ago C-sections) was very common & he was excellent at those...vs. my daughter's BBL & hip sculpting? Not so much. FAST FORWARD... Oct. 2021 I had gotten a PCR test for pre-surgery clearance 5 days before and while the test came back negative 24 hrs. later... 24 hrs. thereafter I got COVID. I was wiped out and had to postpone surgery, but since I had no idea when I could reschedule (since I'd need to be medically cleared for it again) I asked for the money to be returned to me until we could reschedule. Debbie, the office manager (small office staff & Debbie is in charge)... took over a MONTH to return the funds giving excuse after excuse for the delay. No response to my email (multiple)... no response to my calls (except once) and her other staff would say things like "oh yeah, she got your messages, she's just really busy." Or: "oh she knows... she's doing it this Friday... that's the only day she has time to do it." Keep in mind that "Friday" was a month Plus after my surgery had to be put off. THEN... as I finally get her on the phone to find out what happened to the refund on that Friday (didn't show in my bank account)... she said "oh well, the bank is holding it for some reason... it happens..." only I called my bank and that flimsy excuse/lie wasn't the case. You get the idea. Then she told me AFTER the fact she had to withhold $500 for cancelling (it was supposed to be rescheduled) AND in fact, she lied and withheld $750 and is STILL NOT RETURNING ANY EMAIL to get this issue corrected... now 2 months later. She used an excuse she is "in trouble" with her boss so she "had to" withdraw the money. Another lie. Her "boss" is her longterm boyfriend and SHE is the Office Mgr. Total BS. Stay away or just don't expect great results.

I never leave reviews .. but I have to warn people. Do not use him. I got a nose job from him in…read more2022. It is noticeably asymmetrical, not at all what I asked for, and he was extremely rude when I approached him about it. He claimed it was "still swollen" at first and to wait for swelling to go down for it to look better. Then, after a few months, it still looked the same. I went back and said I was still unhappy that it is asymmetrical and that it doesn't look good, and he gave me an attitude and said "well nobody has a perfect nose!!!" Excuse me? I spent nearly 13k on this nose. IT SHOULD BE PERFECT!!!!!!!! 3 years later it still looks the same by the way. It had nothing to do with "swelling". He offered to revise it to "fix it" but I absolutely did not trust him at all so I did not accept the offer. I'm hoping to save up and afford a revision with someone else in the future. Also, still to this day, 3 years later, my nose feels very sensitive to the touch and as if it hasn't completely healed.... (That's not normal!) im oftentimes worried what the inside of my nose actually looks like and if there's issues internally that I can't even see. My surgery went hoursssss passed what it was supposed to - and they told my mom, who was waiting, that "they couldn't fuse my bones back together" and that there was an issue but claimed everything was fine and good and blah blah blah. I took his word until I began the healing process. I wonder what actually happened while I was under. Why did it take an extra like 2-3 hours? What did you do wrong to me that I don't even know about? Explains why my bones on either side don't match at ALL. I feel bad for leaving a negative review but this is MEDICAL and life ruining and damaging. It took me a year to accept my new nose and negatively impacted my self esteem SO much. Luckily I've reached acceptance at this point and hope to change it in the future. Look elsewhere!!!!

Maxim strives to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and safe. For starters, I was well-informed on preoperative and postoperative necessities and as a professional actor and model I was extremely concerned with scarring (especially seeing postoperative pictures at other facilities). Of all the pictures I've seen from others, my head looks like I had a haircut with very MINOR scabbing. I expected to look terrible. I know friends who had FUE as I did and they did not go as smoothly as my procedure. Furthermore, I have severe anxiety and the staff took great care to respect that and keep me in a calm state. UPDATE: My experience was so life changing that upon completing my medical studies, I moved to NY and now work at MAXIM, helping people achieve the same experience I did. Don't believe the fake negative reviews from competitors. You'll see if you check the GMB that people are very happy.

I'm based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and I did an enormous amount of research on surgeons who…read morespecialize in the Motiva Preserve technique. Bar none, Dr. Mark Epstein came out on top. He trains other physicians in this technique and has been performing it longer and more often than anyone else in the U.S., which is exactly why I was willing to fly to New York for it. I could not be happier with that decision. I wanted a very natural result, just a little more fullness up top, and went with 160 cc in both breasts. Dr. Epstein's expertise with Preserve is what sold me. Honestly, the part I was most nervous about was going under anesthesia. Because Preserve is so minimally invasive, I was able to have sedation instead. Dr. Spaliaris, the anesthesiologist, was an angel. She called me the night before to walk me through everything, and by the time I was in the OR I felt completely relaxed and genuinely excited for the procedure to start. That says a lot coming from someone who was terrified. The whole thing was quick. I was in and out in about three hours. I only needed Advil and Tylenol for the first 24 hours, and the discomfort has been very manageable. Best of all, my results are perfect, and I'm only three days out. What I appreciate most is that Dr. Epstein and his entire staff truly listen. They take the time to understand what you want and make sure you're comfortable every step of the way. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner!
