Poor quality. You do not get what you pay for. The high price for such poor quality products for school spring photos. They even offered a free keepsake if you purchased a package by a certain date... and when I purchased packages for both children, they didn't send the keepsake. They are just awful. They rush through the senior shoot, don't pay any attention to detail, and give them tux jackets that are so generic that it looks like a clown jacket. When they show the photos, they haven't touched them up, and they have their name over them so much, that you can't really see them. Then for their horrible quality, they way over charge. Schools need to pick someone better. read more

It's a shame how pricey my son's Senior pictures are. So I won't be buying from this company, I will take my own pictures and go somewhere for copies, and will only cost me my time and under 50.00 !! Would not even give them a star but it would not let me comment with out giving the at least 1 star. This studio was hired to take the photos for our twins high school yearbook pictures. They did a horrible job and unfortunately my twins are not able to get retakes so the horrible picture will be what is published in the year book. The photographer took one of my sons picture with his jacket on, neck gator face mask and an airpod in his ear. The other one has his jacket and neck gator on in his picture. No quality photography is done by Glamourcraft. The only offer was to have me drive them all the way to Fort Worth to have a new picture taken which is not an acceptable fix. So we get to spend $150 on two yearbooks with very awful pictures of our kids. Really sad this is the company that our school has choose to take and showcase kids high school memories. read more

I'm so very disappointed. My daughter had her senior photos done this week and we got the prints today. Glamourcraft put a layer (colorization or turned up the saturation)on every photo. My daughter has brown hair, but it looks red and her teeth are unnaturally yellow (there is even a pink spot on her teeth from editing). When I called and asked them to remove the filter, they said I could come back in and she could get her photos retaken (we live 45min-1hr away). And they can't guarantee the same thing won't happen again. OR I can buy the teeth whitening for $20 to add to my photos WHEN I purchase the photos. Their packages START at $70 (2-5X7s or 4-4X6). The CD with all the photos (that would allow me to edit them myself) $700. The other sad part...these are her senior photos. This is it. This is what is going in the yearbook. Unprofessional for senior photos. I never had a problem with this company when they would come to my kids' school and take their school photos. The photos were never that great, but they were just the typical grade school photos, so, whatever. But for senior photos, forget it. My kids' school chose this studio for senior yearbook photos. To be in the yearbook, you had to use this photography studio. Instead of the photographer coming to the school, we had to go to the studio in Fort Worth to get the photos made. Very inconvenient, as it is 40 minutes away from my home. On top of that, they do not allow online viewing of the photos, so we had to drive back again just to see the photos. There is absolutely no reason not to offer online photo viewing -- they make you come in simply so they can put the hard sell on you to buy a big expensive photo package. They allow online viewing and purchasing for other grades, but not for senior photos because they want to guilt parents into spending big bucks. Not to mention, the photos aren't any good so why would anyone want to spend hundreds on them? The other problem is their telephone. They NEVER answer it. All I ever got was a recording that said to call back during business hours -- but I was already calling during business hours. The recording said I could press pound for immediate help, but instead that just played the same recording again. The recording also stated that their answering machine does not take messages, so there's no way to talk to anyone and no way to leave a message. I always got this recording, no matter when I called. I never was able to get a live human on the phone, so if you need to ask a question or reschedule your appointment, you might as well forget it. Of course the studio doesn't care about any of these problems or negative reviews. They have all the area schools on board, and are the only choice for school photos, so they do not need to be professional or please the customer. This would be a great opportunity for some other business to come in and do a great job and take all this business away from this unprofessional company. No attention to detail: Was just about to order school pix for my daughter, when I realized her jackets was half falling off of her. Really? The photographer couldn't walk over and adjust the jacket to actually have it not hanging off her shoulder. Glamourcraft treats photographing children like a cheap item being manufactured on an assembly line in a factory. They are clearly focused on profits over creating lasting memories for the kids and their families. They use the same tired, old-fashioned, and cheesy backgrounds every year. They rush kids through the process and use super manufactured poses; so, you end up with pictures that look stiff and forced (like the kids are being held against their will and being forced to smile when the police officer pulls over the kidnapper's car). Even in the example photo they use on the packages/pricing pages they send, the little girl's eyes look sad and tired. But, shame on me I guess, because I keep ordering photos every year - I love my kids and want to have memories of their school years. Is it too much to ask for a photographer who cares about photography? read more

I just spoke with Blinda, probably the rudest lady that works with the company. My kids school used Glamorcraft. My daughters pictures came in over a month ago, no problem really. Maybe a little too edited but whatever. However, I'm still waiting for my sons pictures. The school says they were told that Glamorcraft said they weren't mailed. I call today (6 weeks later) wondering where they are at. Blinda said (with an attitude) they were reordered on 10-30. Wait, what about the last 5.5 weeks that I've been asking for them? I'm so annoyed at this point. No one knows when they will be in. So, handing out school pictures may be out of question this Thanksgiving. Which the whole family does every year. Not worth the money. It's more about quantity than quality. I have them a chance since we had to go there for yearbook photo anyway and sitting fee was free. I bought two poses so I could get cap and gown most of the rest were not good. They have all kids sit in same poses and same backgrounds. No creativity or individuality. And definitely overpriced for what you get. For my 3 other children I won't use for anything more than yearbook and a cap and gown shot. read more

I created a yelp profile, just to add this review. I visited this studio with my son for his senior yearbook picture, it is the designated location from the school district and I didn't have any choice in where his senior yearbook pictures were made. If I had been given a choice, we wouldn't have made it past the first session. 1. Their brochures state that you can bring pets to be photographed with the student (if you want additional poses). We brought his 4 month old puppy with a leash. At the door, I was immediate 'redressed' by the receptionist with the dark brown hair and stilleto platform shoes, that all pets must be in a pet carrier. Well, the paperwork does not say anything about this but I did see it just as we had opened the door, on a brass sign next to the front door. She argued with me (repeatedly), stating that this information is in the brochure that was sent out. I happened to have my brochure with me - lo and behold, she couldn't find it on there - anywhere. If you have a stipulation like that, let someone know before they show up. Like, when they CALL you on the PHONE while making the appointment to ensure that it is OK to bring the puppy - or maybe in the paperwork where it says you can bring a favorite pet - or maybe on the website. Probably anywhere OTHER than just the front door. (At this point, we should have just taken the senior portrait and left without completing a full session, you can get a collage at any studio) 2. Out of 20+ photos, there were only approximately 4 shots that didn't look posed. I chose 3 different poses from the portfolio, ONE SHEET of each pose. It was $59 for one sheet containing (2) 5 x 7's and $119 for one sheet of an 11 x 14 (btw, they consider that to be two sheets). If you want a blemish removed for the yearbook photo, that's an additional $20. Total for 3 poses (4 - 5x7 and 1 - 11x14 total) and the blemish removal, tax, etc. it was $278. I saw packages upwards of $700+. Don't try to take the price sheet with your or get it in advance, they won't let you have one or look at one unless you are in the viewing room with the salesperson (by appointment only). You do NOT get to take one home. Their is no online viewing capability so you can go through the portfolio and make selections in advance. It must be done in their viewing rooms, and you are given a price sheet to look over as you make your selections. 3. This is the third visit, one appt. to have photos taken, one appt. to view and buy portraits, you don't need an appt. to pick them up. I asked to see my receipt (BECAUSE THEY DONT GIVE YOU AN ITEMIZED RECIEPT, REFUSED!) and was told to wait for the sales associate. I could see the envelope with the itemization, but they would not let me look at it. When you purchase a package, you will only get a cash register receipt for the total amount. Overall, the atmosphere leaves you walking out feeling like pond scum, there is certainly an air of superiority in that place that is laughable. One positive note, the receptionist named Kelly sounded really nice to the customers while I was there, but the other one (brown haired stilleto platform - clothing is too small - hold on to your youth - heavy make-up, girl) wasn't nice to anyone I saw her interact with. At. All. If you want a really great portfolio at a decent price, go somewhere (anywhere) else. read more

I saw the first review and had to agree with a low rating. Besides the cost, they aren't very professional. I've had various problems throughout the years. Once, I requested a retake because of the photographer's blunder. The customer service person pulled up the pic and laughed at it. Then she said they only let kids who were absent sit for retakes at school. I would have to drive to their office, which is quite far from us to have it redone. I was told the photographer doesn't have time to make sure the shot is good. By the way, these "photographers" don't have to have professional experience. Schools put these photos in yearbooks so kids can be teased for a bad pose. read more

Ok, no problem, till I see they want to charge 12 dollars for shipping, I live in the same city they ship from. 3weeks ago I called and they said I could pick up the photo at the business location, today, "Melanie" says they don't do that anymore....wtf?? All I can say is I hope the HEB ISD changes from this company. These people's customer service sucks! I did not get child's pictures and I paid cash for them, because in order to pay online you had to pay an additional 5.00, so I just paid cash. when her pictures did not come home I asked all teachers and admin. staff to look into the issue, when they could not find a folder and/or pictures I was told to contact Glamourcraft, so when I call the company I was told they did not have any information that I had paid for pictures. Thank God I made a copy of the information, after holding for about 5 min she advised with a very snooty attitude they would send the pictures to my address as a 1x courtesy, and that in the future I should pay via CC or Check so that I could keep a better record. I advised thanks and contacted the my child's school to let them know of the situation and request that the HEB ISD District rethink the picture contract with this studio. This is not the 1st time I have had to have a conversation with this company, 2 years prior they took my money and never followed through on the picture and items I ordered. Every time I called they would say they have been mailed it takes 3-4 weeks. After waiting almost 6 weeks I finally requested to cancel the order and have the money placed back in my account, and BTW this order was paid via Debit Card! no apology was made or reason given on why every time I called I was told it was in the mail...this company is SUSPECT and I see I am not the only person with issues like this just check the reviews! I was also told by our school admin that several parents have called b/c they did not get their child's pictures. REALLY, and I am the 1 who needs to keep better records???? read more

This company took my son's school pictures, and although the picture was cute (because he is) they misprinted the name, and then they wouldn't change it unless I put the work in to mail or bring back the one page of prints that was done incorrectly.
