Bonnie has been doing my hair almost my entire life and knocking it out of the park the entire time!! I have very thick hair and she's the only one I trust to color and cut. From highlights, to going dark, to full bleaching, she's been up for every challenge I've given her. I'm so grateful for all the time and effort she's spent on me. Just blowing drying my hair is a workout!! She started doing my husband's hair in 2024 and every time it looks absolutely fantastic. He also has thick hair and a lot of it. Bonnie takes great care of us and we always trust we are in the best of hands. read more

We have been going to Leslie for quite a few years now and couldn't be happier with the results and the customer service that she provides. She is by far the best hairstylist that we have ever been to, and really does great with the whole family. All of my daughters love going to her because she makes them feel so beautiful when she's done. My sons love going to her because of all of the special attention they get from her. I would definitely recommend Glam Salon to everybody that I know. The business is absolutely beautiful and very well decorated, and the service that they provide is totally outstanding. After admiring my sister-in-law's hair cuts and colors for many years, I finally decided to give her stylist Leslie a try. Boy am I glad I did! Let's be clear, I am as picky as a person can be about my cuts and, especially, color. As a 49 year old with dark brown hair and lots of color resistant grays, it's really hard to find someone with the skills and knowledge to not turn my hair either jet black (to cover the grays) or some shade of red (which doesn't cover). I was so happy with the results that Leslie provided with just one visit. She immediately pinpointed everything that needed adjustment with my cut and color, and, honestly, it was like she read my mind! The color that was all over the place due to some recent balayage highlights was corrected to a nice shade of chocolate brown. She also did an awesome trim and blowout. I also had my 10 year old son along for the ride and had Leslie trim his hair. As any mom knows, it is just as hard to find a good cutter for a child's haircut as it is for an adult. She is great with kids, even impatient ones like my son. Her cuts are fast and looked better than his previous cuts that cost 3 times as much. Trust me when I say, you cannot go wrong with Leslie. Now I just need to get my husband here as well :) read more

Leslie is worth every penny to have your hair cut precisely like you want and a gifted colorist too! I've received many compliments on my new hair cut and been told my hair color looks natural. Joann H read more

I have been a client of Leslie's for 16 years. I have had Leslie cut, dye, highlight, trim, straighten, up-do, thin, and experiment with new treatments on my hair. I have NEVER been disappointed once. Leslie has been very adamant to only make adjustments to my hair that will complement my complexion, rather than letting me get a color that would wash out or clash with my skin tone. I have been able to walk in and tell her to put in highlights and let her pick the colors without a hesitation. I will never let anyone else touch my hair. I highly recommend her for any treatment you seek, she will never disappoint and will always be honest with you about what you want to get done. I have to add a disclaimer to this review and let you know Leslie is my cousin, however this does not change my review of her work. read more

Love my new hairdresser Leslie! My hair color was a train wreck when I walked into Glam. My former colorist, who I went to for years, was becoming a little complacent the past couple of visits and I was disappointed with what she was doing to my hair. I finally said enough is enough. If you are at that point with your hairdresser, just do it! Walk away and give Leslie a shot! I am so glad I did! After reading other reviews here and seeing photos of her work online and the fact that she is close to my Metra train station (so convenient!), I decided to go for it. Leslie was professional in her color consultation and made sure the communication was clear. The end result was a decision based on my desires and her recommendations. The salon itself is comfortable and has a very relaxing environment. Leslie took before and after photos and they should be online. I quite honestly could not be ANY happier with my new color. Talk about going from drab to fab, lol. Thanks Leslie!! read more

A couple of months ago, I was very unhappy with a haircut from another salon and was debating whether to just let it grow out or go somewhere new and hope for the best. I ended up going into Glam after reading a few reviews online and am I glad I did. Bonnie was fantastic. Not only did she fix my haircut, she gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had!! I was very impressed since she had never cut my hair before. I showed her an old driving license photo and explained what I didn't like about my current cut. Bonnie is sooo talented - I left there feeling like a new person and loving my hair!!! The cut and shape lasted several months. I returned for another haircut recently and again Bonnie did an excellent job! The salon is lovely, clean, and modern. Booking an appointment online is super easy and convenient. Parking is also super easy since there is a parking lot right in front of the salon with more spaces in back. read more
