I had a 3:45pm appointment and was not assisted until almost an hour later. There was no compensation offered and not even an acknowledgment until at least 30 minutes after I arrived. If appointments are not going to be adhered to, then why have them? It should not matter if you're busy, that should not overstep an appointment. This was the second time I experienced this, as my last appointment was the same and when I checked out, the gentleman did not want to give me the $5 gift card I earned, on an email promo. Once I was finished, I went to pay. I had a $5 gift card from my last appointment, which I received from a discount text, that I had to prove I received, for $50 plus, services. I also received another text for a $5 discount if I received services of $50 plus. The guy that checked me out (same gentleman as before; I am assuming one of the managers) stated I could not use 2 discounts, I explained I only wanted the $5 card for my next visit, especially due to the almost hour wait and I still spent $100. He said he would not. At that very moment, I decided I would no longer patronize Milano Nail Salon in Germantown. When you consistently spend over $100 on nail services, IX monthly, there should be some consideration when appointments are not kept by the staff. She's incredibly friendly and her prices are fair and she definitely knows what she's doing. I love treating myself to pedicures when it gets to flip-flop season as their pedicure chairs massage, so you get a bonus. In addition, there's also a couple girls who do hair (there's also others who do nails and another aesthetician too), though I've never been to any of them. Everyone seems incredibly professional though and everyone who's ever left the salon looks happy with their work. This place is very tiny so it can be hard to find, but it's worth it!

Once it was clear that I wasn't getting a full set, I just went on with the appt bc at this point all is left is polish. The lady couldn't do a full set bc she had other clients. This took almost an hour & there wasn't any other ppl there waiting for nails while I was there or when I left. She did try to reschedule me for a full set the next day or after. But it was a reason why i needed to be there on that particular Wednesday. Minus my nails, the service was ok, I didn't find the atmosphere to be relaxing. It doesn't give me spa vibes or relaxation. The place could use a facelift. Next time I will be very clear on what I want, my nails are ok I think they'd look cleaner if it was a full set. These were 15 dollars, so you get what you pay for.
