Whatever you receive at your trial, multiply by 100000 because her talent, expertise, and skill will BLOW YOU AWAY on wedding day. I looked in that mirror and was taken aback by how incredible her technique and attention to detail are. She is by far, hands down, the most talented MUA I have ever seen. The Instagram pictures and videos do not even do her work justice. Some key highlights: My makeup lasted through 85+ degree weather and crazy humidity from 11 AM to 2 AM (THE NEXT DAY) without a single touch up. The makeup ATE even with flash hours after dancing (and sweating) ALL night. Every single person who saw me complimented my makeup and said it was the perfect amount of glam while still feeling and looking like me. BOOK HER NOW before reading the rest of this review!!! MOST importantly, there is something so special about Kyla that is hard to put into words. Her energy is infectious, and she brings incredible vibes to every room she is in. My sister (MOH) loved Kyla SO much, that she already booked Kyla for her wedding in NYC next year. We cannot wait to celebrate with Kyla again!! Kyla genuinely listened to my concerns, any insecurities, and made me feel effortlessly beautiful for my welcome night and traditional Indian wedding ceremony! I absolutely love how Kyla has experience working with women of all different shades, tones, and ages. Her expertise was truly evident! I also had my mom who is in her 70s, and my cousin receive glam (they both rarely wear makeup) and they were beyond pleased and felt beautiful! I was glowing the whole day and felt like a gorgeous bride! The bridal glam I went with was the perfect blend of a softer approach with a touch emphasizing my darker features, eyes, and the most stunning blush placement and longevity. Her artistry truly balanced and highlighted my features so beautifully. Kyla is a queen -- the absolute best & you won't be disappointed!

On the wedding day, Jennifer and her team arrived promptly and finished hair and makeup for me, the groom, 2 moms, and 4 bridesmaids right on schedule. They even helped with a few touch-ups after we had a quick lunch! Everyone looked incredible all day. I had heard about her through mutual friends and community. I'm really glad that I got to work with her for my wedding. She is dedicated to her craft and really talented. I am always nervous about working with others who may not be as well versed in my Asian facial structure and hair, but I did not have to worry at all with JP Charming! I did book a trial with Chi Hang so that I could get a feel of what I liked and would want on my special day. I was able to match this up with my engagement photoshoot. Chi Hang talked me through the whole process of my hair and make up. She also asked me a lot of questions to see what I liked and what I wanted to aim for. This was helpful as she was building my profile for my wedding day. I was torn between a half-up, half-down and a low bun. Turns out, I can have both! On the wedding day, the base would be half-up, half-down and then turned into a low bun. The low bun would be for the ceremony and then turn into a half-up, half-down for the reception by taking out some bobby pins! On the wedding day, Chi Hang and her team were right on time and ready to go at 6:00 AM! I absolutely loved the two gals she brought with her: Pari and Lucy. My sister is usually so quiet, shy, and not super into doing hair and makeup. But I could hear her laughing and chit chatting away. I know my girls felt at ease working with Chi Hang, Pari, and Lucy. They really take into consideration what their clients want and make it happen! My mom was very impressed and whew, it can be hard to impress her. The whole process was very well organized and timely. She had sent me a spreadsheet of the breakdowns of who does what and what at time. We were on schedule, which was a relief to me because I have been a part of a wedding party where one of the bridesmaids was missing from the tea ceremony due to the makeup artist miscalculating timing. My wedding was the end of August so it was still very hot out! However, my hair and makeup stayed great throughout the whole day. She gave me a little kit to help touch up any pieces. It was such a sweet touch. I'm so grateful that I went with JP Charming for my wedding! She is so kind and really wants to know what you like. It makes it easier for people like me who sometimes have a hard time speaking my thoughts. Thank you for everything, Chi Hang! If you're looking for a A+++ team, look no further than JP Charming!

So here's the scoop, I went to Megan for a highlight and cut, I used the groupon deal which is a cut and color for 45, an amazing deal! But what was even more awesome is the girl that booked me the appointment said there was no need to buy the groupon. That they would just honor the price! I was relieved because I've had a lot of problems with my groupon expiring before I got the chance to use them. I went in and the salon was super cute! Very homey feel and they had a comfy couch to wait on while you process it was awesome! Megan did a very in depth consultation on my hair color and cut, I was nervous to go to a salon that had such good deals, to good to be true is what I was afraid of. But I figured id give it a shot! And I am so glad I did! My highlights turned out amazing! No one can ever get them as blond as I want but Megan sure did it! And she was faster then a lot of hairdressers I've gone to as well. To say the least I was very impressed! Megan was also very talkative and friendly! Got to know me instead of just doing my hair like some hairdressers do. She offered me water and things and made me feel important. I would recommend Megan to anyone and glam dolls in general! They have amazing customer service and your hair WILL turn out amazing. I'm definitely going back to Megan! Thanks glam dolls!! read more

I was itching to get my hair done and didn't have much time to do it. I saw a Groupon for $45 for a cut and color and called immediately, Ashley answered my call with a sweet Alabama accent. She allowed me to come in before work (rushed) and cut my hair. I went to work with perfect hair and she did it in 30 min so I wouldn't be late. I then called her when I was off and she stayed after the salon closed to color my hair. When I first met her it was like we were instant friends. She was very sweet and accommodating to me wanting my hair done as soon as possible. She did an amazing job and everywhere I go people compliment me on my hair. She listened to EVERYTHING I asked for and everything about this experience was great. It is safe to say that Ashley is amazing and if you want someone who listens as well as cares what you want then please go to Ashley. She is now my new hair dresser. It was recently my sisters quinceañera and I did not know who to go to for getting my and my sisters hair and my make-up done. So i asked a couple of friends to see if anybody knew of a good place and I came across glam dolls because one of my good friends was a bridesmaid and she had nothing but GREAT reviews about these ladies. So I called them up and asked my questions and they let me know that they can travel to whatever location I needed them to go, I had Joanna (hair) and Becky (make-up) come over to my house and do the trial for my little sister and I. They made us feel really glamorous and elegant, and on top of that both girls were very easy to get along with. I would totally recommend anyone looking to get their hair and make-up done to go with GLAM DOLLS. They are definitely #1 in my book and I would not go to anybody else. Thanks Becky and Joanna! I booked Megan for a color and style prior to a special event. She truly has a gift with hair. I'll be the first one to admit that I am extremely picky with my hair and many of the hairstylists I have tried in the past would blow me off when I would show them pictures or explain to them what I wanted my hair to look like. This was disheartening as no one seemed to color my hair as I requested. Megan was the first hairstylist that actually took the time to understand what it is I wanted and my hair turned out great.
