Today (29th April) I went there for my final session which didn't happen because I was asked by the manager to pay 50£ extra for it otherwise the beautician wouldn't touch me. The beautician I met today was different from the one I had all the other treatments with and she found a paper note saying that I missed an appointment on the 15th April, that was a mistake as I never had an appointment on that day. I showed the manager all the texts with the appointment reminder to prove I never had an appointment on that date and that my schedule must have been mistaken with someone else and despite obvious evidence the manager asked me to pay initially 50£ extra and then he lowered it to 30£, however that was just an excuse to get more money out of me because of a mistake they made at their end. As I didn't want to pay the additional fee I was forced to leave the clinic without my last treatment completed. I strongly discourage you from booking anything with this clinic as they are too full of themselves to admit their mistakes and look for excuses to gain more money from customers instead of fulfil their agreement as a business.

Needed an upgrade and was offered a pair of sunglasses, and told they would take one week. They did and I should have allowed more time for the fitting, that takes 30 minutes. Sam has been fantastic on my trial and wedding day! And thankfully I made the right choice with Sam, she was lovely. She did not overpower me with make up knowledge but enough to give me more of an idea what can be done and make me look beautiful. The trial filled me with confidence. On the day itself, she was right on time and put me at ease. She made hair & make up for myself, my sister and mum and all right in time. She really thought it all through with the timing as well. On the wedding day I still had to do a bus ride playlist (which I forgot about) and whilst doing my hair she helped me with this as well. I had a brilliant playlist after all. My make up lasted all day & night and my hair was still in place with my hairpiece. Fantastic work! I messaged her with a date and she said if I could pop a £95 deposit in to her account she will hold the date and then we'll talk trials. She said she had problems with her emails. It was 2 weeks before I heard from her again and I was growing cautious. We finally booked a trial for a month before the wedding but I was hoping to do it sooner as I had a feeling even then that she wasn't too reliable, but I'd already paid my £95 deposit. I text Sam and asked if there's any chance she's free on the following Monday. She said yes and suggested 10am. By 10:15am Monday morning, after calling and texting with no reply, I finally receive a text from Sam saying she's busy, she doesn't remember agreeing to that time (I have a text from her, in her own words, suggesting 10am on Monday). I asked for a refund as I no longer trusted her, who's to say she wouldn't do this on my wedding day? She agreed to refund me. It's been almost 4 weeks and I still haven't been refunded. I text her a few times a week. She texts back all the time, always with a different excuse: her accountant manages the refunds. She's been away. She says "it'll be with you this weekend" and "it'll be in your account by midnight" but, of course, it never is. I still don't have the £95 she owes me for not showing up to my trial. I'm still suspicious she's a con artist and doesn't actually know a thing about hair and make up. The alternative is she's an extremely unprofessional woman who has no idea how to run a business. Either way, I would hate for other brides-to-be to be let down as I have and I hope she never has the chance to rip anyone else off, avoid at all costs!!

I had booked in for an Exotic Lime and Ginger Salt Glow body treatment (30 mins), and a Sole Delight Grooming for Feet (30 mins). Having booked through one of those special offer vouchers, in all honesty I wasn't expecting too much, but the competent and friendly beauty therapist, Adele, quickly set that record straight. We began with the Sole Delight treatment, and what a delight. I have to admit that I tend to neglect my tootsies at this time of year, really only paying attention to them in the summer, but after a word or two from Adele about maintaining the expert work that she had done, I will now extend my before bed routine of applying cuticle oil to my finger nails to my somewhat neglected toes too. The body treatment is deserving of praise too. My body was buffed and vigorously scrubbed with the delicious smelling salt product all over, leaving my skin positively glowing and incredibly soft and silky to the touch. The facilities are clean and the ambiance in the room; soothing music, and very soft lighting during the body scrub treatment made for complete relaxation. Thank you very much to Adele and Glamour House for a really wonderful experience. I can highly recommend this place, and would definitely consider returning even at full prices.
