I cannot attest to the quality of Candy's work. I was a first time client. I decided to not move forward with my service, because I did not feel comfortable with Candy. I arrived on time, but Candy was with another client. I sat on the bench and waited patiently. Bizarrely, Candy sent me a text saying that I was late. But when I approached her door, she told me she wasn't ready and to have a seat on the bench. ??? Candy was neither welcoming nor inviting. When I first approached her door, she didn't introduce herself or even say hello. It felt very cold. Nonetheless, I introduced myself and told her I was there for an appointment. She seemed immediately irritated that I was her client. She insisted that I complete an intake form. Intake forms are normal, but Candy was particularly rude about it. The form has a section that asked me to agree to allow Candy to use my name, image and likeness for her commercial use. This is beyond the typical consent that service providers ask for, to use your picture for their marketing. When I asked Candy about the section she assured me that she doesn't take pictures. Taking pictures has nothing to do with granting a NIL. As a lawyer barred in three states, it was immediately apparent to me that Candy does not understand the legal consequence of what she is asking of her clients. From her attitude, perhaps she doesn't care. To paraphrase, her response was "I don't know what to tell you; take it or leave it". So I left it. Though not initially, she eventually agreed to refund my deposit. I'm really disappointed by Candy's behavior. Plainly, she wasn't nice. Therefore, I couldn't trust that she would treat me or my eyelashes with care once I laid down. -------- FYR, here is the relevant portion of the intake form: Publicity Waiver And Release Glam By Candy (the "Business"), desires to use and publicize the name, likeness, and other personal characteristics and private information of the individual named below ("I" or "me") for advertising, promotion, and other commercial and business purposes. Awful. Paid a deposit to schedule an appointment. Confirmed it multiple times. When I reached out a few hours before to ask if I could come in early, she told me she would actually be late. Good thing I called because it looks like she would not have mentioned it otherwise. I arrived for the newly scheduled time but she was not there. She refused to answer her texts or her phone. After being half an hour late she cancelled my appointment. She was rude and flippant about it, trying to blame me. Really disappointing. I'd give zero stars if I could. ***response*** Candice, You were over half an hour late from our initial scheduled time. You did refund the deposit, but it's pretty rich to charge deposits for appointments when you are the problem. Every lash lady I've ever had keeps their phone on them during the appointment. I don't know why you wouldn't have yours and wouldn't look at a clock when you know you are scheduled for another appointment right after the one you are allegedly in. I was at the location for over an hour. No one entered or exited your business. I really doubt you were there to begin with. read more

Her technique, glue and retention are amazing. My lashes have lasted me three weeks. She really takes her time. Her prices are average with other places in the area. Her room is very comfortable. Easy location with free parking. I would highly recommend Candy if you're interested in eyelash extensions. read more

I had an appointment scheduled and on the day of my appointment, my father had to go into surgery and I forgot to call to reschedule my appointment. The salon texted me and asked to reschedule online. I had previously explained my situation and apologized and was hoping to get some understanding from the business. But, no such luck. They wanted me to pay another deposit on top of the fact that I was charged $30 for my deposit and the deposits stated on the website are $20. I get business is business but the humankidness is humankindess. They stated that I should've called but had I known this was going to happened to my father ahead of time, I would have.
