I used to have to spend over an hour blow-drying and straightening my hair, and even longer if I wanted to curl it on top of that. Now, it's sleek and beautifully silky to the touch. Sunnie added a keratin treatment to ensure that my hair would retain some volume and keep it healthy after the straightening treatment. From the moment I sat down in the chair, she inspected my hair and told me that the process would consist of applying the solution to my hair, letting it process, washing it, drying and flat ironing it, then applying the neutralizing solution that would allow it to stay straight, using the keratin treatment, and using a special iron that would almost "steam out" the keratin solution and make it bond to the hair, and then we'd be done. She was an absolute delight and made sure that I was well taken care of the entire time. She even brought me water without even me having to ask! She was also very detailed and even made sure to check individual strands of hair during the entire process to make sure that there was nothing overlooked. My hair looks amazing. I am so incredibly grateful for her work. Thank you so much, Sunnie!

I've been here several times…read moreover the years and haven't experienced any rudeness... maybe some shade but never any disrespect... the staff here is cordial kind of but not rude. I've mostly stopped in for their great deals on Cantu products and brands of leave in conditioner, shampoo and hair grooming accessories... a multi ethnic guy needs a fresh pick and/or comb every now a then. They have a wide variety of caps, wraps and wigs if you're in need and the lady who works in this area is really laid back, but also no nonsense. The aisles are very wide and while all the space in the store isn't completely filled or utilized it's easy to get around... you usually ended up saving more than you would expect by the time you check out and while the check out area is sort of covered as if they are ready to expect the unexpected (precautions)... you are thanked for shopping and able to make your purchases with complete ease.
