My dog was sick I had took him to the vet because he was losing weight and diarrhea he is a year and 11 months old the doctor done an exam on Wolfie and she found something that really concerned her when she was pushing on his back end so they done x-rays she said she did not know if it was something or not because she really couldn't see it all she saw was white and she said that she wanted to do surgery that day but I did not have the money to do it that day but she did tell me that he was running a temperature and he had some kind of infection in him after $275.80 she sent him home with antibiotics and something to stop his diarrhea and vomiting which Wolfie had only vomited once he look like he felt bad but he was having diarrhea and he had lost 30 some pounds from last year he is German Shepherd boxer mix so he's a big dog anyway she had told us that it's going to be $800 to $1,000 for surgery to see what was in his intestines if there was anything oh and there was another symptom Wolfie was not eating much either so they just told us that there's nothing they can do without money I was heart broke then because there was nothing that could be done about my poor baby well anyway I took him back to the vet on 11/27/23 they done an exam and they spot that she felt seem like it got bigger I said can't you do blood work or something to find out anything so they did his blood work came back normal but of course he was running a temperature again even after the antibiotics well my poor baby had to have surgery to let the vet figure out what was wrong with him she let him stay at the veterinarian clinic because I have another dog and I always put food down for her and I didn't want Wolfie getting into it because he was not supposed to have anything in his stomach he could have water but that was it anyway they was supposed to call me whenever he was opened and they found out what was wrong with him I felt so bad that I took his big pillow down to the receptionist and she was supposed to give it to him because I knew that he would have to stay in there a few days after the surgery the vet kept her promise and she called me just to give me bad news intestines were eat up with tumors she said that there was at least a footlong tumor inside my baby and there was numerous tumors all over so after all that crying worrying praying there was nothing that could be done for my baby she said that there was nothing that she could but she could sow him up and wake him up and send him home with pain medicine now I wish to God that I had never let him have that surgery he would have still been sick but at least he can live his last days at home with the family that loves him even though we wouldn't have knew what was wrong with him but anyway I had to come to a very hard decision yesterday at around this time and let her go ahead and put him to sleep because I did not want him coming home and suffering that's what it would have been where she had done the surgery I don't think he would have healed from that so my poor baby is gone when the doctor called me when Wolfie was open she asked me are you sure that he is the age that you said he might be older I said no he is one year and 11 months old I know I got him as a puppy acted like she done this everyday as far as putting my baby down which I don't know she might put a dog down everyday but still she told me she was sorry but it didn't seem like she had empathy I mean I can understand why that's charged so much but they need to understand people like me do not have the money for all that expensive stuff they need to learn to work with people instead of telling them he needs to have surgery and you telling them that you do not have the money for that I know that they get screwed over in situations with people that come in and tell them that they're going to pay and they don't I mean I can understand but still there was no sense in it I tried and tried to ask them if they would take payments or something like that no they have to have their money up front or they can't do nothing with your animal and they do not accept donations or anything like that we the people need a vet that will work with us I'm not down in these people because they might have had a bad day or something but still you always veterinarians are there to help the animals and the people that have these animals God knows at the times I tried to get that card that the vet had told me to try for for the payment and it kept on denying me so what are people supposed to do in a situation like that nothing there is nothing that you can do I love my animals and I make sure that they have what they need but this was unexpected and you all as vets should understand how it is to lose an animal that is more like your baby or kid this was not supposed to happen more feeling for their loved one that they just lost would be nice read more

Very clean, organized, and friendly. The DVM took the time to make sure she didn't miss anything and was very concerned about my animal. She spent time asking questions to identify the problem, examined my animal, and came up with a solution. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The fees are decent, and affordable. I am happy with my visit there and plan on returning if I need. read more
