In 2018 we hired LaChance to install a new gas, chimney-vented 40-gallon State hot water heater. We…read morehave been very happy with both the job LaChance did and with the hot water heater. It has lasted us for eight years and today it finally decided it was finished. It started leaking. I called LaChance's emergency line. Bill called me back very quickly. I explained the hot water heater is leaking and we have no hot water. He asked if I want service this weekend which is an additional $400, or if it can wait until Monday and cost $400 less. I greatly appreciate this explanation. We chose to wait until Monday. Bill tells me he has a 40-gallon, gas-powered, chimney-vented State water heater he can install which comes with an eight-year warranty! Awesome! We are VERY HAPPY with LaChance once again!! Update: everyone was wonderfully communicative! Teresa called Monday am to say the guys are on their way. Sean and his co-worker arrived and got eight to work. The new water heater was installed very quickly. The old was removed. Our mixing valve was gunked up with sediment. Sean showed us all the build up inside. We opted for a new mixing valve. Our overflow tank is still good! When turning the water back on Sean noticed our kitchen sink hot water was now running with less pressure. He blew the line out again and took apart the faucet. He needed to call a regular plumber. Teresa had a plumber to our home by that afternoon! He replaced the stem on our kitchen sink faucet since it also had a good amount of sediment in it. LaChance didn't charge us for the second plumber's time nor for the part! We are extremely pleased with the communication, professionalism, thoroughness, and price of this job! Once again we are very happy we went with LaChance Plumbing and heating!
