Outstanding service and amazing office support. They deserve the accolades and BEST in town HVAC company awarded them. Previously I used a small local company that was acquired by Snyder (who run expensive TV ads!!) and the service was barely average and accounting and office struggled to get it right and required repeated phone calls. That's when I switched based on review and they were correct. Go with Glacier. read more

I had a problem with my air conditioner at 9:30pm on a Friday. I called several places and Was told call in the morning. Glacier called me within 2 hours and said they were on the way. We were able to fix the problem which was a twig got in the outside unit and shut it down. We canceled but I waited until Monday to call them and bought a one year maintenance from them. Aaron Green came out and did a great job checking my unit out!!! Aaron came out during Hurricane Debbie on the west coast and it was raining off and on. Never complained just worked from start to finish! Went over everything with me and gave me tips on my unit. I'm very appreciative of Aaron and Glacier's 5 star service I received!!! Their office was very helpful as well moving my time up and fitting my schedule. I will always use them with this kind of service!!!! read more

Called this company at 8:45 am, 15 minutes before opening, my call was answered, and service was booked. Brooks called me within 30 minutes to let me know he was 20 minutes away. Brooks was a phenomenal representative of this company. He communicated with me and showed me what the actual issue was. He verified my warranty and replaced parts that may have been bypassed. He saved me money!! He was diligent on making sure my air and heat as operating before he left. I would definitely call this company again based on the service Brooks provided. Thank you for a job well done and making it effortless. I appreciate your diligence. read more

I woke up to a non-functioning air conditioner/heater. I called several people in the area for urgent service and Glacier was the only one where I was able to speak to a person live. Terry ended up taking my call. He was friendly, professional and was able to meet my urgent appointment request. I was so pleased with his service that I signed up for the annual maintenance plan. I appreciate Terry not trying to sell me components I did not need. I am very happy with his excellent customer service experience. Thank you for the fair price and honesty. read more

Glacier Heating and Air Conditioning - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - St. Augustine, Florida

AC went out Saturday night, I called the next morning. Talked to Terry the service tech told him my problem said he had a couple other services to do and then he would be able to come by and take a look to see what the problem was. He showed up and within a hour he had my AC up and running. He was very knowledgeable. And at a very reasonable cost. read more

Glacier was great on my first service call with them. Tech (Elijah) showed up on time, fixed the problem, explained it in detail. Easy to schedule, easy to pay. Highly recommended! read more

I shopped around and chose Glacier. They are local & owner offered exactly what i needed for my beach front property. No one else recommended an Hvac unit that was specially coated to handle the salt air that guarantees against corrosion. From the owner Eddie, to his installers Richy and Elijah and the office staff were very pleasant to work with and made sure we were satisfied every phase of the project. read more

Our air conditioning went out at 1:30 in the morning. We called glacier and they were out within 15 min. The tech was very professional. He was able to diagnose the problem and had our air up and running within 15 minutes. We appreciate the quick service, especially in the middle of summer in Florida! read more

The first time I used glacier, the technician Aaron serviced my A/C on 8/11/23. I signed a one-year contract and paid him. Shortly thereafter, I called the office and left a msg. On 8/31/23, I texted Mike, one of the owners, that the insulation cover to the exterior refrigeration lines was damaged , the wires were exposed and needed to be replaced as it affects the cooling. When the technician was here on 8/23, he did not mention the missing cover and the exposed refrigeration lines to me. I discovered this problem myself when checking the outside unit By 9/15/23, Having not received a call to tell me when they would come, I texted again, reminding Mike about replacing the insulation cover to the refrigeration lines. He called and told me to send him my address - he would get A technician out on Monday. I texted my address on Sat 9/16/23 with another photo of the outside exposed lines. It is now 10/23/2, 5 1/2 weeks since I spoke with and texted my address to Mike (an owner) for the technician to come a day or two later. This is the worst service I have ever had from an A/C company. Since I have already paid Glacier for next spring's service, I will use them for that, and never again. I do not recommend this business. read more

We needed to have our old system upgraded. We received prompt, professional assistance and received a very reasonably priced quote. The installer was very professional and respectful of our property as well. We loved them so much that we had them come back to add a mini split to our Florida room. Would DEFINITELY recommend them to everyone! read more

What a delight working with Glacier. I called at 9 PM on Saturday as my air was out in August! They were clear in their communications and setting expectations. And they were out the next day. Couldn't be more thrilled with this level of service. read more

Called after seeing good reviews on Yelp. Called and got a return call within a half hour. Derek showed up within the hour. He looked and checked my whole A/C system (11 years old) and said after replacing the capacitor that it was running great and needed nothing else. He was honest, gave me a little education on the HVAC, fair prices and very prompt and professional. I would use again. Hopefully I won't need to. I'm also a construction manager who recently moved to Florida so I knew no one to call. Glacier is a good company. Highly recommend them. read more

Glacier Heating and AC did a fantastic job getting my AC up and running again for a reasonable cost. The technician was polite, professional, and a good communicator. I will continue to use Glacier Heating and Cooling for all my AC needs. read more

Mike repaired my heater. He assessed the problem in no time and installed the needed part on the same visit. He was perfectly brilliant, and I am grateful for a working HVAC! read more

Service and scheduling was excellent. Price was not. Reasonable $99 for service call But charged $200.00 for a $17.00 capacitor. Took tech 1/2 hour. Very professional and polite so I don't fault him. Unless he was one of the owners. I don't begrudge people making a profit but 1001 % margin is unfair. read more

I have to say that for me Glacier is the company for us! Our heating unit went on us in the freezing cold and on Christmas Eve. They were the only company that came to our rescue! And we found out that we needed a new unit, so we bought one from them. The price was right and we've not been sorry to choose them. They come out right away when needed and you get to talk with the boss when needed as well. You can't go wrong with Glacier a great company with great workers! read more

My brand new HVAC system was so noisy you couldn't hear the tv when it was running. Tried calling the original installer (McGowen's) but all they wanted to do was sell me a variable speed controlled thermostat for $300 and wouldn't guarantee that it would solve the problem. After trying to get answers from the manufacturer and the installer for over a year I called GLACIER. Spoke with their HVAC engineer/general manager (Ed) who diagnosed the issue over then phone. Ed came to the house the next day to insure that things were working properly and quietly, at NO CHARGE. I have been using Glacier now for several years and have recommended them to all my friends and neighbors. They are the BEST! Cal S. St Augustine, FL read more

Top notch service! I had a whole house system installed by a competitor (not by my choice.) Glacier has saved the day several times and helped us fix the prior installers mistakes. Professional, prompt and very accommodating. read more

Mike and Derek showed up, very courteous, personable, checked the whole system, did what I expected, prices seemed on par. Were there within the hour, after hours on the weekend. As another reviewer said, I will definitely call them again but I hope I don't have to. read more

Glacier heating and AC are the best HVAC company i've never dealt with and I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to write this review. Over the past year I've called glacier four times and every time they have been great! We purchased a new house with the problem AC system and I don't know what we would've done if it weren't for glacier over this past year. Just to give you a few examples of how fantastic these guys are... I called them back in August and we had no AC in the house and it was a Saturday afternoon. They came out and fixed the AC system and got it working again on Saturday! Then in November when we were back in Saint Augustine the evaporator went on our unit along with a damper. The owner of the company who lives in the area actually came out to do the service call... and they went out of their way to make sure that The warranty for our HVAC system was transferred into our name,so the parts would be covered! They could've very easily told me I had to pay for the $1300 in parts and labor and to go after The HVAC company that actually installed the system. They knew I was in a tight spot and really took care of me... And got everything fixed in days. I can't say enough about this company and I am so glad that I called them! read more

2 yrs ago the coil in my ac unit went out! I called several different companies and they came out for an estimate. I couldn't believe how much they were charging! I finally called Glacier ac in Saint Augustine, when the technician Mike came out, his quote was half the price! His customer service was beyond what u expect from someone. He was so honest! That's so hard to find. The service and his honesty was impeccable! B4 you think about calling anyone, call Mike first! You wont be disappointed! Zack and Raquel! read more

I had planed to have a new system installed by Glacier but before it was installed i my old system stopped working. Ed came out and got it running to hold me over until the new system was installed at No Charge ! Glacier came out a week later and installed a new system. Three technicians came out for the install and had it done in four hours. Very clean and professional guys. Glacier also installed a system in a rental that we own. They are a great company and you will be very happy with them. Thanks Ed and Brooks. read more

Awsome guys, fast attentive, helpful, honest, and very competitively priced. Work in big teams and get it done.

My AC went out two days before Thanksgiving, with a ton of cooking and family members arriving I knew I could not wait for warmer weather to get it repaired. I called in the am and meet Mike and Derek at my home in the afternoon. They diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within and hour. Great Job Guys read more

We had googled a AC service as our AC went out and Mike got here in 30 min or less!!! With my husband not having legs and me being pregnant having our AC working is very important in this house! Not only did he get here shortly after we called, he was on the ball! He was very professional, very quick, and knew what he was talking about (which these days is hard to find). He even tried helping my husband figure out another problem he was having! Very friendly like we've known him forever. I am SOOO happy we just happened to run across this company!!! read more

Best I have ever had dealings with. Fast, efficient, friendly and economical. I will definitely be using them again. Would give them a 10/10 if allowed. read more

Our AC went out today and after waiting for another company for over seven hours only to no-show, I desperately googled "Emergency AC repair St. Augustine" and Glacier Air popped up in the results. No way is this company really 24 hour I thought as I dialed their number expecting to get their voice mail. A real human answered!!! Mike actually was at our house within the hour! Wow! Is this company for real? While our problem was not a quick fix unfortunately (we need to replace our 10+ year old unit) Mike was honest, explained everything well and was genuinely upset he couldn't get our issue fixed tonite. We will be using his company to replace our unit and for any future AC needs. How refreshing to find companies this responsive with such great customer service, thanks Glacier Air! read more

I am a retired general contractor from NYC, so I know my tradespeople. Mike (owner) and Aaron showed up on a Sunday in a driving rain storm for the same rate that is charged during the week.Call them and get a live person 24/7/365. Great diagnostician. Super competent super professional. Don't waste your time calling anyone else ! Thanks Guys 1 read more

I suffered all week with an A/C that did not want to work properly, dreading having to call someone for a repair and service call. Finally on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. I started searching for good reviews of someone who would not take advantage of my situation. Mike answered the phone, he offered to walk me through some steps to try to get my unit working, but I did not know where something was outside, so I scheduled for them to come out. I decided to go check again and dig in the mud to find the piece he was speaking of and luckily I found it, I returned my call to him and asked him how to proceed with the next step, he walked me through what to try... I went and bought a $30 wet vac at Lowe's and some vinegar and tried his suggestion, by 5:59 I was calling him and thanking him for saving my life and my money after being over-stressed by multiple deaths in my family in the past few months. Not only would I recommend Glacier for your needs, I would make them my routine company that cares more about helping a customer then making every $ they can off of them in their time of most need. Thank you Glacier Heating and Air and thank you Mike for saving me... words will never express my gratitude and you have gained a customer for life. read more

Went out of town for Labor Day weekend and came home to a garage floor full of water. Didn't take long to figure out it was the AC unit. Called Glacier Heating and Air and they responded quickly to fix the problem. I've used them in the past and will continue to have them fix all my HVAC issues. They are quick, reliable, trustworthy and professional. Can't say enough good things about these guys. Thanks Mike and Derek - you guys are the best. read more

I hear a lot of mixed stories about AC companies. My friend used Glacier AC after having had a very bad experience with another company. SO when it came time to replace my entire unit, I decided to listen to what these fellows had to say. They came to give me an estimate, offered me some alternatives, listened patiently to my concerns. They gave me an estimate that I thought was extremely fair. They came on Christmas Eve day (didn't charge me additional for that) , did the entire job, quickly, neatly, and professionally, So far the unit is working exceptionally. I am an asthmatic, and Mike gave me some suggestions of things I could do to improve my air quality. These guys really care about their customers, and not just about making money.Based on their behavior and work, I have grown to trust them. I would recommend them highly. They are BBB accredited, with no complaints. There is one word that sums them up,,,,,and these days it's an important word...integrity. I feel confident that if I run into any trouble with my unit, they will handle it. read more
