Ginormous portions and reasonable prices. Open late and usually very busy, so I like to take away, but it's a great environment for friends, couples, families, anyone! Bustling, but not too loud. Its maybe not in the most visible location but I have to say I like what they do. I like all the chalk boards and the independent feel of it. Its comfortable and spacious and the food selection is great for lunch. They don't just do sandwiches but offer up nice looking jacket potatoes and very yummy crepes. They are also the first Welsh retailer of Pieminister pies. I'm not a pie lover but my bloke loved his. I also liked how fresh everything was. I hope it does well, just mainly because I love pancakes.

Apparently Pieminster pies are kind of a big deal. He assures me that they're absolutely delicious. I just had a coffee, which was... well, coffee. I'm sure had my experience been less about watching my friend scarf down two pies and more about enjoying my own food, I'd be more erudite on the topic of Cafe Mattia, but as it stands, all I can say is that it looks lovely, the food is, apparently, incredible and the coffee is more than passable.
