We picked a beautiful day and sat upstairs--the view is phenomenal! We were celebrating our anniversary, and it was such a sweet surprise to find a little card waiting for us at the table. We started with the Colonel Cigars appetizer, and they were delicious! Just a heads-up--they only come with three. Our server made great recommendations. I ordered the grilled pork chop with the cherry demi-glaze, and it was outstanding. I paired it with sweet potato fries and a side salad. My husband had the grilled blackened grouper with mashed potatoes and a side salad. It was excellent, though the portion was a bit small for the price. One of our favorite parts of the meal was the homemade dressings and sauces. The horseradish Caesar dressing was incredible! We both cleaned our plates and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It's also a great place to take a stroll before or after your meal, making for a perfect outing. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

There is a lot to say about this place, so buckle in. We moved to the Oak Ridge Tennessee area…read morerecently, and we are just diving in to the local food scene. Tonight's choice...The Pearl. It is a short 15 minute drive along a beautiful river from where we currently live. It was gorgeous. This entire area of Tennessee is just breathtaking. When we arrived in the parking lot, I was moved by how the restaurant blended seamlessly into the park that surrounds it. They even had luxury golf carts at the ready if you didn't want to walk up the hill to the restaurant. What a nice touch. We were kindly greeted by the hosts and promptly seated in a very comfortable booth with an outstanding view of the landscape outside. There is also an ample patio if you choose to dine alfresco. This place is obviously upscale, but it was nice to see a variety of dress. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I am always a bit anxious meeting the server for the evening. I have been to many nicer restaurants where the server hung on me like an over-sized suit. That can really take away from an otherwise lovely meal. Not today. Meet my new friend, Nik. He was extremely well versed in the offerings on the entire menu. He made thoughtful suggestions presented in a kind and sincere delivery. He was extremely attentive the entire meal. My unsweetened iced tea never reached the halfway point before Nik had a fresh one at the ready. This was some of the best table service I have EVER experienced. He will be requested time and time again as we plan to return often. Let's get to the food. We started with the grouper bites as our appetizer. Nik explained how the fish was so amazingly fresh even though we are no where near the ocean. The quality was outstanding. I highly recommend this starter. One last thing about the freshness of the fish. A couple of years ago, my wife and I had the opportunity to go on a bucket list trip to the St. Regis in the Maldives. We caught grouper on a fishing excursion and it was prepared by the master chefs at St. Regis. The grouper we had tonight was just as good if not better than that delightful meal in the Maldives. Please, give it a try. I had the bone in pork chop and my wife had the salmon. Both entrees were absolutely fantastic. It was one of those meals where you wished the evening wouldn't end. I am looking forward to trying absolutely everything on the menu. I have a feeling that each dish will bring great satisfaction. So, Nik...have any good suggestions for dessert? Silly question. Another perfect pairing to our outstanding meal...dry cherry bourbon pecan pie. Scratch made heaven on a plate. I could go on and on. If you made it this far into this never ending review, you have done well. Go eat here. Ask for Nik. Take a suggestion or two and have an amazing evening.

I asked for no ham and no mayo. Sandwich had both. I took the receipt in with the sandwich and she actually looked over the receipt like I didn't know what I'd ordered. Very insulting. No "I'm sorry about that" , nothing. Sandwich was remade and again the box was filthy. That must be this locations signature. Sandwich was ok at best. I ate half and threw the rest away. Will not be back. Will not recommend to others.

Early '90s couple of former firefighters in Jacksonville Florida decided the branch off into the sandwich chain. Originally started in the Jacksonville area franchise quickly but it didn't go very good and they bought back all the locations. They would thrive for many years in Florida Firehouse of course has fire station theme kind of things which makes it very unique same with the titles of their food and everything else. They would try a different marketing angle bringing in a investment group and the different kind of expansion. Continue to grow fairly well for the most part They're also in other countries not just America Puerto Rico, Switzerland and Canada. are found in two Florida airports Jacksonville and Orlando. Western New England University they also opened a location on campus. Expansions continue with over 50 in Ontario alone wanting to get to 90 more through Canada I came in and I ordered up one of my favorites that I used to really enjoy the New York steamer. Because I am a huge fan of corned beef and pastrami. One of these times I'll try a different sandwich one time allows and one of their salads this is a nice location.. it's an easy walk from the truck stop a few extra steps but it's okay very clean. The staff are very nice. Everything was very well presented and I enjoyed my food very much so this visit here and review gets four stars definitely above average for sure in my opinion.

We placed a simple order for two pizza pies on a Tuesday and were quoted a 15-20 minute wait time,…read morewhich seemed perfectly reasonable, for what appeared to be a slow day. To pass the time, we went to Walmart and returned about 27 minutes after the initial order was placed. Upon arriving, the staff at the front offered no greeting, no smile, and no sense of hospitality. Their demeanor made it clear that customers were more of an inconvenience than a priority. When I asked where to pick up my order, I was simply pointed toward the bar. I gave my name to the bartender, who also offered no greeting or acknowledgment beyond taking my name and money. At this point, I waited another 11 minutes (all verified with maps history). Meanwhile, my teenage kids were sitting in the car in the heat and humidity. I had turned the car off because I never expected a "15-20 minute" order to turn into a 37+ minute ordeal. I eventually had to leave just to restart the car so they wouldn't be sitting in unbearable conditions. When I returned, another employee asked for my name again, and only then, a few minutes later, was my order finally brought out. The most frustrating part? The restaurant was not busy. Staff members were standing around, and the hosts appeared more focused on their phones at times, than on the customers in front of them. As for the pizzas: the good news is they use real mozzarella and the sauce had good bold flavor. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. Portions of both pizzas were missing cheese and toppings, and the crust was noticeably undercooked. After an excessive wait, poor service, and obvious lack of urgency, it is hard to understand how the food itself still missed the mark. For the high prices, this experience was nowhere near worth the price. My takeaway: save your money. Perhaps this was just an unusually bad day, but first impressions matter, and this one was terrible. When a business shows so little regard for customer service or the customer experience, it raises serious concerns about leadership and management. Employees typically reflect the standards of those who hire and lead them, and this experience said a lot. Quite honestly, unless management makes significant changes to its approach, I do not believe this business will last another year. It says a lot when my entire family would rather have Little Caesars, and for the same price, we could get six pizzas, instead of two here. That comparison alone should be a serious wake-up call.

I'm from California so I do not have an accent and I talk fast and literally every single employee turned to look at me when I was talking because as I'm told I stick out like a sore thumb. I ordered a whole Italian sandwich. A half a sandwich is definitely plenty because they cut each half into a half so you're getting four sandwiches. The sandwich was very flavorful and tasty. I also got a large strawberry lemonade. When they handed it to me I laughed and said wow you guys weren't kidding about a large. It was probably about a 32 ounce container. So I would definitely come back!
