There's an excellent buffet in the mornings. Everything is fresh and delicious. The cook, I thank his name is Mark, does an amazing job.

The food on the bar was so cold that the cheese had congealed on the pizza and cheese sticks. The salad bad lacked all the items you would want in a salad ( especially tomatoes) . Too expensive for that type of service . read more

I went there today in Martin. I ordered an antipasto salad and a 19" specialty pizza. My family and friends tried to warn me that it's not the same Giovanni recipes since there are new owners. The crust was old (possibly purchased frozen) it was so tough it loosened my front tooth. Everybody who ate it with me said the same. Thin crust but it held the pizza toppings well. They do put the toppings underneath the cheese which I personally love but I know there were quite a few people in our group that didn't love it. We are also from Buffalo, the pizza capital of the world so we may be a little difficult to please lol The prices were decent and they cut the pizza into square slices for us because we had a really large group to feed. If you can manage to get them to cut the pizza correctly that would add to the score. Second the sauce is just whatever and it has to much under carriage or flop. Save your self some money because they're expensive and go somewhere else. read more

I love Giovanni's Pizza! It's so good! We have family in Martin, so we find ourselves there several times a year to visit. The town is very small, so there aren't a ton of dining options. Giovanni's is one of the only places that isn't fast-food, plus they deliver, so we usually opt to stop in or order delivery at least once during our visits. We visited Martin this past weekend and decided to stop at Giovanni's Pizza to eat. We were hoping they would have the lunch buffet up, and we were not disappointed! The buffet is my favorite, because you get a chance to have some of everything; and it's all delicious! We ended up having several types of pizza, spaghetti with meat sauce, breadsticks, garlic bread, salad, and dessert, including cinnamon sticks and some type of chocolate peanut butter dessert pizza that was amazing. In addition to the foot the restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly. If you're ever in Martin I cannot recommend Giovanni's Pizza enough! read more

Amazing dessert, their candy bar pizza is our favorite. Their buffet is always on the top of our list, even though it's a 30-40 minute drive for us. Also get yo know George, he is the best, my kiddos absolutely adore him. They are willing to make special pizzas for the buffet - Hawaiian, BLT, Taco, so if you want something specific just ask. read more

New to the area and called in a order For a ham and cheese wedge was told would be ready in 45 minutes when I got there I Was told they didn't do wedges and was given a ham and cheese sub instead when I asked why I wasn't told this when I called in my order I was told they didn't know. The pizzas were good. But the crust left a lot too be desired. It was too thin to support the amount of toppings we had, which weren't excessive in my eyes. The house salads were HUGE!!! Could have easily split with someone else and had plenty. The salad was fresh and crisp. Pizza toppings were good. Delivery was timely and far cheaper than it should have been. read more

The Martin Giovanni's is legendary. I don't remember a Martin without Giovanni's. Within the last few years they moved into a new building and added a buffet-- which I've never tried but hear is just great. It must be true because there is hardly a spot to park in during lunch time. The old location survived a number of floods in downtown Martin and the building had taken a lot of damage. The new location is much nicer and more likely to avoid future flood damage. The subs and pizza are good. My favorite subs are the steak or the italian. They're always hot and tasty, but the cooks tend to go crazy with the onion. Imagine an actual tomatoe-style full-cut of onion, rather than just pieces like everywhere on else serves. No big deal. You might like it, or you could pick some of them off, or you could just ask for less onion. I have no doubt that they'd be happy to comply. The pizza is the greasiest pizza I've ever seen. It's also very thin pizza and is cut into squares rather than pie slices. Many are turned off by the greasy pizza but others love it. I learned to love it. read more

First time eating here. The buffet was good and we ordered a couple of appetizers. Good selection of pizzas on the buffet and a small salad bar. The employees were really friendly. The food tasted great. If we drive by this area again we will be sure to stop in again. read more
