Dr. Sullivan killed my cat by carelessly injecting my senior cat with a KNOWN HEART MURMUR with a steroid that lead to her going into congestive heart failure. I wouldn't trust this place with a goldfish. Their negligence and incompetence is horrible and they should be shut down for good. Same goes for their sister establishment west hills.

I worked for many years as a veterinary surgery tech, so I don't say this lightly: my kitten's spay incision is one of the most impressive I've ever seen. The scar is tiny, healed incredibly fast, and looks beautiful. That level of surgical skill and attention to detail says a lot. I bring all my pets here now since I had multiple bad experiences at another local clinic .. The doctor clearly loves what they do and treats animals with real care and respect and Anne at the front desk is so sweet ! Fair warning: parking is terrible, so plan ahead. But if you're looking for quality veterinary care at an affordable price, this place is absolutely worth it

Cut open my pup for a money grab…read more Loved this place until I didn't. Brought my first dog there for years and was so happy. Got a second puppy and brought her there as well. It was time to get her spayed so we went for the examination prior to the procedure. She was examined and we were told she was going into heat and that the procedure would be more complicated and more expensive if they performed the surgery during her heat. We decided to wait until she was through her first heat. They scheduled another appointment for us to come back to confirm she was through her heat so we did. My pup was examined and we were told she had completed the heat and was ready for the surgery so we scheduled the surgery for a day or two later. We drop her off, she is sedated and cut open when I get a call from the vet saying she is in fact still in heat and do we want to proceed? My puppy is already under sedation and cut open! With not much time to think and with concern for my pup I said to proceed. I didn't want her to have to go through sedation and getting cut open a second time, that seemed dangerous to me. Thankfully all went well and my Pup was fine. Sadly, they billed me the additional hundreds of dollars for performing the surgery while she was in heat, even though they cleared her!! I spoke with the owner and explained the situation, I told her that my pup was cleared by your staff, she was cut open on the table when I got a call to make a split second decision, I'm a client using you for years. All fell on deaf ears. Owner did not have any empathy for our situation. Profits over everything and anything. Pretty scary, unprofessional and just plain lousy.

I had been blessed to meet Dr. Tomas Infernuso - one of the top veterinary surgeons! Dr. Infernuso has a wonderful reputation as a highly skilled and talented surgeon. You can immediately tell he has a genuine passion for his profession and prides himself in making sure the owners are well informed and prepared for the surgery. I cannot thank his team enough for saving Suzy's life. Suzy had a tumor that was growing so fast, it was taking over all the space in her little body. Dr. Infernuso, who was so kind and straightforward, gave me all the info I needed in a very honest way to make hard decisions. Suzy is 10 years old, but otherwise healthy. The surgery was going to be costly and risky but given Suzy's happy demeanor and otherwise health, the Dr. decided to take a chance on Suzy. Dr. Infernuso was more than fair with cost and fees. He is not about breaking banks, he is about saving lives... Dr Infernuso pulled a huge mass out of Suzy. The removal off this mass also included removing a damaged ureter and kidney along with reconstructing her colon. This Dr. is so gifted at what he does. Amazing. I just cannot thank Dr. Infernuso enough. The care Suzy received was absolutely top notch. Suzy was hospitalized for three days being taken care of so skillfully after surgery by the Dr. and Nurse. They both texted and called me often to update me about Suzy's condition. They had walked me through the after care process as well. I will recommend Dr. Infernuso a zillion times over, I will forever be grateful for the extra time he took to keep my sweet baby alive.I am looking at her now playing. She is happy. That means everything to me. Thank you so much, Dr. Infernuso!

We decided to bring her home, and let her live her life as comfortably as possible. About a week later we realized that Bacon's health was declining, and that it was time to say goodbye. This was extremely hard for me since I had Bacon before my daughter and my husband. The staff were so kind, and made the process as gentle on us as possible. They created a memorial keepsake with her paw print in sand. They also included patches of her fur, and they made sure to include all of her colors. Not only that, they sent a beautiful, handwritten sympathy card. I know it's old fashioned, but it also shows that they care. That action took time, and they didn't have to do that, but they did. If your pets have had the fortunate opportunity, such as mine, to be in his care, and if you miss him; I want you to know he's back on a part-time basis. Hopefully, he will remain and better yet, return to being one of their full time doctors. I have shared my home with cats since the early 70's. I'm not sure, it might have been during the mid 80's or 90's, when Dr. Gentile joined the practice. At that time the facility was still privately owned. Since then he has used their revolving door. Throughout the years my fur babies have been treated by many doctors at this facility. Dr. Gentile is one of the most caring my pets were fortunate to be treated by. He is compassionate, excellent skills/knowledge, quick thinking, assertive. He takes time to listen, explains thoroughly, answers questions in a language and manner we can understand. A client never feels uncomfortable in his presence, he understands the animal isn't the only one hurting. He is very patient, doesn't speed through exams, a client doesn't feel rushed. I think after a while animal care gets to be routine with some doctors. They forget the importance of also treating the client, they can even present annoyance a client is taking up their time. I understand they don't have an easy job, treating sick animals have to deal with death on a regular basis. I think it becomes routine, they lose their ability to communicate, express compassion and emotions. However, this is the career they chose and when they get to that stage, they should retire. Dr. Gentile is honest and very direct. If you are looking for a vet who's going to agree with you, or pat you on the back, this doctor is not for you.
