I ordered 3 items from the menu-cerviche, pumpkin soup, and duck. I only got the cerviche and the duck. The waiter came back until he handed me the check. Staff were friendly but inefficient. My advice is to look at the menu before arriving and order everything you want want when the waiter gets to your table. Again great New Orleans Jazz. BTW, there's no bar here where you can just order drinks and sit and listen to great music.

The groups that play there are normally awesome. A particular group, which I don't recall the name, was three people that sounded like a full five-people band. Vivid sound and very well played. If you go there, make sure to put your name on the pool queue board. I had an amazing time and met some very good players.

The music and the harmonies were so smooth, and the energy that the group brought to room was beautiful. It was truly special to hear where everyone was from, as well as to know that two women from the U.S. were part of the group as well, alongside Brazilians. I particularly liked the renditions of Mais Que Nada, and Aguas de Março. Thank you so much for an amazing evening, and congratulations on your first concert in Brazil. I hope there will be many more. The Club was also a perfect room to hear live music.

The first thing that jumps out when you get there is the rich mosaic of party flyers, with homages to timeless music roaming seamlessly between soul, funk, R&B, samba, Afropop, and between Brazil, the US, and Africa. This place is small, giving it a jazz bistrot feel, although I imagine space might turn into a problem depending on how packed it gets. As for the bar, they have a few kinds of spirits, including cachaças (caipirinha or shots), but the highlight is the beer selection, including various local craft beers. However, if you're short on $$$, they also have a couple of brands of macro beers (whose names I didn't bother to notice).
