I think what makes Jazz B work is that the music literally and figuratively takes center stage at the bar. The food and drink menus are a bit limited, but they have all the classic drinks (their Old Fashioned is about the closest you can get to a Sazerac in São Paulo), and the food options range from things to snack on to pastas and grilled meat dishes. The acoustics are decent, and seem to improve as the band warms up. In my opinion, it's a venue all live music fans have to go to, and it's great to see the downtown scene rising from the ashes.

All good. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars was due to slow service (20+ minutes to get a beer). I very much like their card system for paying, so if you go in a group, you pay for what you yourself ordered! I'll be back. The beer ice-cream in the little freezer by the cashier should be avoided. Ick! Just sayin'!
