The staff greeted me as soon as I entered and within a few minutes someone became available to take my order. Pricing was reasonable to me with the cost of food today. Everyone was friendly and ensured my order was placed correctly. The wait time wasn't bad either - I was in and out in no more than 15 mins. You can tell everything was made fresh. The food was packed with care for travel - made it easy to enjoy later without mess. Each hotdog had great taste. You could tell it was of good quality - not the cheap chicken hotdogs you get from some places lol Will definitely be back!

Keep in mind the scoops are huge. One scoop is easily enough for a person. I didn't need to order two. But it's not that expensive and great value for the deliciousness so no big deal. And big scoops are good. Best ice cream in Wilson probably! Yum Yum Yum!

We had ordered light because we'd had a late lunch, and this was plenty for both of us. I should have written this review sooner so I would remember exactly what we spent, but it was quite reasonable. If you're visiting the nearby Whirligig Park as we were, this was a nice little walk- just a few minutes up the road. Next time we're in town, we will definitely be back!

The reviews no matter how old are true!…read more This is not anywhere near how an oxtail plate should taste, look, nor smell (it's not bad but not like oxtail "basically boiled meat"). The meat was 3 pcs with loads of fat as you can see (thought it was dumplings ) and about 7 SUPER SUPER SUPER tiny pcs. Honestly it was very reminiscent of Golden Corrals roast flavor, look, and smell. OMG this plate is definitely a $15 option being that you're barely giving the customer anything. I will gladly pay $30 for an oxtail plate as money is not the issue but quality is what we're missing here. So let me start with I called to place a pickup order and 2 people answered. I was told to just come in it only takes 3min. I arrived and waited a hot 10. Also it was dark and very uninviting which was kind of weird. Customer service was not huge and iykyk fine. I ordered and added a beef patty of which I was told was mild. It was spicy which was ok because that's what I wanted that actually tasted fine. The sides were not tasty at all I do not trust to try any other options because this is the test for most Caribbean restaurants. In my book I'm putting a Gordon R sticker by this place as it's TOAST. Try at your own risk which is what I did but the people have spoken and for a huge first I agree with them!!! SN: if the restaurant doesn't show you the plate before you leave just know you're gonna regret it

The location is easy to find with plenty of parking. The staff that we encountered were pretty friendly and helpful. There seemed to be plenty of seating and the front of the restaurant was clean. All the food looked to be cooked to order (which is where some of my issues stem from- but we will come back to this). Oh and pricing was relatively the same as any other burger joint in the area - that's good for anyone interested in price comparison. Now...for the cons. Le sigh. The burger patties had no seasoning and honestly tastes like frozen patties from Walmart. The crinkle fries, the same - tasted as if they came from frozen section with no love put into 'elevating' them. Like maybe some fry seasoning or something. Obviously, I know fries are frozen if not freshly cut - but it doesn't have to taste like it! The zucchini fries were just lifeless - soggy things. Jut no hope for them. The wings did not taste fresh. This is where my issue started - regarding food being prepared when ordered. Are these wings that were fried earlier and the re-fried when ordered? I don't know - but it wasn't for us. This was also the feeling about the bacon on the Western burger. Sadly, there isn't anything I would return for but hey I invite you to try - you might have a different experience.

Being our first time, it was a little hard to read the menu from a car behind, so we needed to wait until we got to the window to see what they had to offer. AND BOY do they have a lot different things to offer. We decided on a double cheeseburger combo with fries and drink - total after tax about $15. Hm...okay no problem. Once you paid, you were instructed to drive around the building to the other side where you would pick-up your food once done. We waiting maybe 10 mins (if even that) and our food was brought out to us. The staff were friendly and it looked like a clean establishment from where we sat waiting. Now...the food. I can't say the price reflected the amount of food you got. The burger was somewhat on the small size, the fries were okay, and the drink was just a drink. Nothing to really write home about.
