I listen to the other two gentlemen here, all three are excellent conversationalists, totally open-minded to topics being talked about, very professional....you really feel like you belong here when you come, and you can't help but feel the sense of togetherness when you go to leave. Their prices are very reasonable and applying a tip on top is just a very nice way to show them how much you appreciate their presence, their services, their professionalism, their kindness. I'm 55, I've been to many places to get my hair cut, I really feel like this place gives me the best experience, always.

This place was always welcoming and warm whenever I was scheduled there, but last time I went there…read morethe unthinkable happened. Jackie cut my hair. Dear god I cannot fathom her understanding of hair. I cannot even fathom her understanding of listening. I told her "Do not touch the top, only touch the sides." In Jackies twisted mind, this meant "I should touch the top." I have a birds nest for hair, and its all jackies fault. Half of my head is shaved, the other half is thinned. I told Jackie that I liked using clays in my hair. If you know anything about hair clays, they don't really work when the hair is thinned. Jackie turned me away from the mirror, and continued to cut the top of my head down from being healthy and voluminous to thin. Jackie destroyed my hair. She told me "You looked the the flying dutchman before" and proceeded to laugh. She has ruined my appearance, to prove this I have attached a before and after picture. Its safe to say one thing. I will be wearing a hat from now on. Alright guys update time. I have since been back to hoyts, and have made sure not to schedule with Jackie and instead have gone with alternatives. It has made my experience a lot more enjoyable.

Open for just under a year they seem to be doing pretty well. I am a bit concerned that they might limit themselves to their select group though. Guys like me probably won't return as it seems all their cuts turn out the same way. I give them a 5 star because they cut my hair well, however, I wasn't really looking for a pompadour. My part was thin and very thick in some areas and the sides of my head ranged from a half to the same length I entered the shop with. The older gentlemen that was cutting my hair used a buzzer for my entire head rather than using scissors in some areas. I was in disbelief. Instead of asking the barber to fix it I went over to Pete's and they were just as shook as I was for the state my hair was in.
