I also feel my massage therapist was very dainty and soft. I wanted more of a lymphatic style massage to help relieve foot, ankle, and lower leg edema which we discussed at the start. I feel like time was wasted doing ineffective things (ie holding pressure on my neck for several minutes with no movement.) Pregnancy pillow was also extremely uncomfortable. I wasn't asked at all how the pressure was (which is odd since that's a basic of any massage.) I was looking for a bells and whistles massage. Despite their advertising, this was extremely basic (not even a hot towel on the feet or face was used.) Leaving disappointed and $160 (for a 70 min massage) in the hole with no relief.

I was extremely disappointed in my 60 min deep tissue massage. The person just rubbed oil all over my body. He barely massaged me, didn't use his elbows and it was definitely not a deep tissue. He spent 10 min rubbing my neck in the same spot. One thing that made me uncomfortable is that he completely REMOVED the blanket when it was time to work on my legs. I was cold and uncomfortable. I couldn't even enjoy it. I was on my stomach laying down with nothing but the towel over my butt. What he should have done is cover one half of my body, work on it then cover the other side. The woman that answered the phone and booked the appointment was very helpful and friendly and she told us a 90 minute massage would cost $130. We booked the massage asking for just a relaxing Swedish massage. Why I would not go back: 1). Your face is literally laying on a paper towel as you get the massage. 2). They didn't close the door to the massage room so all you hear is noise the entire time. 3) Asked for a relaxing Swedish massage, and that techniques being used were not relaxing at all and more Thai like... elbow, weird movements, pulling, etc. Was not relaxing. 4). Turns out they only give you the $130 price if you pay cash which was a surprise... If you pay cash, they won't charge you tax. If you use a credit card, you pay a convenience fee plus tax and it ends up being ~$145. Would have been nice to have known in advance. Everyone was really nice, just wasn't what we were looking for. There were other people in there raving about the massage they got so maybe we just got a bad one?
