I knew it was time to finally see what I have been missing all these years. And, sure enough, I have been missing out big time! Right from the time I entered the building, Mandi was very professional, welcoming and put me at ease. The entire massage experience and ambiance was fantastic. The room was lovely, the bed was perfectly cozy, the music was so soothing, and Mandi even added some lavender aroma therapy that I loved (she asked me if I would like some). Not only was the environment perfect, Mandi's massage was incredible. She was very responsive to my preferences and specific needs. Since this was my first massage, I opted for a light to medium pressure massage. This was perfect for me. I was so relaxed and whatever area Mandi was working on felt soooooo good. She spent extra time where needed, but managed a full body massage in 60 minutes. During my massage, I really wished I had booked a 90 minute! Next time! And, yes, there will definitely be a next time! I am hooked! Thanks, Mandi :)

At the time I had a headache, within 10 minutes of starting, that was gone, within 20 I was almost falling asleep. I can't speak highly enough of the ashiatsu massage, had always gotten swedish or deep tissue on the past which was good, but this was on a whole different level in terms of the type of pressure she was able to apply. Got to spots I've been craving to get a release from but could never get on my own, felt drunk from relaxation by the time I left. Go see Mandi and enjoy, you won't regret it.

She noticed that I was holding tension in my hips in the front, not just in my back. I could have kept getting massages without getting rid of the problem if she hadn't been so good at her job. I can't believe I found her! Other reviews reasonably point out that this is not the fanciest or most polished "spa", but the expertise is there, it's less expensive, and you can get short-notice appointments, which is how I found them. Try booking a "spa" spa with less than 3 days' notice.

I guess you get what you pay for…read more I had passed this place a few times and was intrigued by the foot massage sign in the window. I got an amazing foot massage in Asia years ago and always wanted to find a place in the US like that. When I checked Yelp reviews, I saw that they also offered massage. I had a tight and aching back after a few long weeks at work, and decided to check them out after nearly every other massage place I checked was booked. They accept walk-ins, which I was relieved about on that day. The massage itself used hot stones, which was relaxing and comforting. The massage technique was a little ... unpolished? Like instead of feeling that the strokes or areas worked were connected and a smooth transition, it was a little more abrupt. Never had a massage quite like this one before in that sense. At the end initially I was quoted the wrong price, before questioning it and the masseuse correcting herself. I was going to pay with a card (they charge a fee), but the lady pressured me for cash. It was a rare occasion that I had enough on me. She immediately asked me for a tip while I was standing there with my wallet open. Some of the better reviews seem to reference a different massage person, so maybe that accounts for the difference. Glad I checked it out but not sure if I'll come back.

This is a bit of an odd, but honest review…read more I am giving 4 stars specifically for the lovely lady pictured. Celeste is a very talented massage therapist and my massage from her was one of the best I've ever had. I can't recommend her enough. With that said, and this will be the odd part of my review, I have to admit I had one of the worst "massages" ever. I went for the cranial sacral drainage massage (I think that what it was called) and it was the worst $80 I ever spent. There was something off the moment I met the person who performed this service. She was actually rather condescending to me in her attitude and didn't even explain anything to me about this type of "massage", even though I told her this is my first time doing this and I am not familiar with it. I can't even call it massage, but it felt more like torture. I was told to lie down on the table, and then she held my head suspended with her fingertips for an excruciatingly long time. Not 5, not 10, but I'd say a good 20 minutes my head was suspended like this and it was making me nauseous. Finally, I had to say this was too painful and making me feel sick. She put a pillow under my head, and then sat there for over 5 minutes not doing anything. So already 25 mins of my hour massage were gone and it didn't get better after that. From that point on, she squeezed my head very hard and finally I was at the point of irritation and asked if there was going to be any "massage". She got defensive and said, "don't you know anything about this type of massage?" and I said, "No, I already told you I didn't" and even then she didn't explain what she was doing, but instead I should research it myself because there's "tons of information out there". I wish right at that point I would have just got up and left. The very last 5 minutes, she gave me a few shoulder squeezes and rubbed my face a bit, but I still to this day have no idea what I was supposed to get out of that. Instead I went home and grabbed my migraine medicine because I could feel one coming on after that. I seriously think she was literally just messing with my head. (ha) This happened a while ago and I've been waiting to see if that woman is still there. I'm thinking she's not because I don't see that service offered anymore. So, despite that miserable experience, I still give this place 4 stars because of Celeste and I'm sure her other team members are talented as well. Thank you.
