One day I received a text that my cleaner was in an accident and wouldn't arrive. I found out later that was a lie. She and her family were picked up by ICE and deported though they are not gang members nor criminals. They sent someone else who seemed completely untrained and ill prepared to clean my home. She used an abrasive pad on the stainless steel trim on my custom Elmira stove that permanently scratched the surface. This appliance matches my custom refrigerator, major features of my home. On top of that she did not have a vacuum cleaner. Instead of asking to use my vacuum cleaner she left with the floors still dirty. I hoped that my previous cleaner would return but instead they sent another subpar cleaner who arrived without a vacuum cleaner. I started thinking they are just hiring anyone off of the equivalent of Craigs list. Since then they have done nothing regarding the damage to my appliance. I have asked them 3 times to have their insurance company contact me and haven't heard anything though the damage happened in April.

One sent a preliminary quote that was way too high so I reach out to Bear Pro Cleaners. We start off texting to share basic details then arrange a call. After speaking with Kevin (owner) and discussing my immediate needs we set an appointment for two days out and agree on pricing. Kevin kept in constant communication with me and provided updates as promised. Day of appointment he and his crew arrive on time and get to work. There was allot of deep cleaning required for this bathroom but when they were done it looked like new and the odor was gone. Upon arrival, we got a text that they were requesting an extra 1.5 hours to clean the master bath. We ok'd the service. At the end of 5 hours, the team informed us that they would need an extra $150 to clean the master bath. Actually, they cleaned the rest of the house and never even started the master. The team did a good job with the rest of the house. The issue is that the business model is not ethical or fair. You don't ask for approval for extra hours to clean a master bath and then leave it for last, never clean it, and ask for even more time to finish. Very disappointed with this company and their business model. We will not use them again and do not recommend them for this reason.

Every single time we scheduled a cleaning, we were given a time and the crew would arrive more than three hours later than expected arriving past 4pm. And I had requested to be first thing in the morning. This happened repeatedly, making it nearly impossible to plan our day. The final straw was when I called two days in advance to cancel our service, yet they still sent a crew to our house anyway. That level of miscommunication is unacceptable. It's unfortunate because the cleaning staff themselves were great, but the office scheduling and communication are clearly disorganized. Because of this ongoing issue, we ultimately decided to cancel our service.
