I then later changed my mind and decided to have them clean Monday and was still charged the same price with the discount so I thought that was weird. After they arrived and I left, it took them about 5 hours to clean a 1700 SQ ft 3 bedroom 2.5 bath townhome due to a cleaner feeling sick and it was just 1 person cleaning. I come back after they finished and paid, and see that the floors were not mopped and counter was not wiped. Although everything was cleaned in the rooms and bathroom, the kitchen floors and counter were left as is. I'm super disappointed since I was moving out. They offered to come back the next day but I have already turned in my keys by then. After telling them that and asking what else can be done to fix this, they stop replying to me.

I have used several maid services this year, and Freshify was one of the better ones. Initially,…read morethey were going to send a team who were supposed to be great with cleaning and has excellent attention to detail, which is what I need. They had to cancel the appointment with that team due to one person being away and I can't recall why the other lady couldn't make it. So, they sent a young lady named Diana who didn't speak any English at all, only Spanish. We used Google Translate, but it really doesn't help communicate complex instructions or certain expressions very well. Any professional translators reading this review should breathe a sigh of relief, because I really don't think AI translators will ever replace a live human translator! But I digress. Diana came quite a few times, and I was happy with her work. She was cheerful, and patient, and did a thorough job. Sadly, one day she pulled a no-show, and didn't call me or Freshify. Alex with Freshify was very apologetic. I didn't blame the service at all; these things happen. I took the opportunity to discuss the language barrier, and requested that whoever they send next be fluent in English. The cleaner they sent, Cleo, wasn't as good as Diana, and spoke next to no English. Her housekeeping was acceptable, though. I spoke to Alex again, and they gave me a credit to account for that. The last time they sent two cleaners, who spoke almost no English. Streaks were left on glass table tops and shower glass. The bathrooms weren't cleaned very well, and one toilet wasn't cleaned at all. There was a ring of mold that appeared a few days later, and it takes a couple of weeks for that to happen. Things in general weren't cleaned very well, and I suspect it might be because they couldn't ask me questions. Freshify Cleans charges above average, so I expect above average cleaning - each and every time. I try not to be picky, and if I could clean my own house, I would. Unfortunately, I physically cannot, so I have to rely on others. I have decided to hire someone myself without relying on a service. It is much cheaper, and I am very happy with the person's work.

I had such a great experience with Karyna's Supreme Maids for a deep cleaning of my little one bedroom apartment. The best part, was that it was easy. I felt I could trust this team with a key to my home and with my two cats. I booked a quote via Facebook messenger, no call needed (a big win in my book). She came, quoted, and a few days later...conquered. Despite never picking up the phone, she communicated with me through the whole process. The cats didn't even need to be put away or crated. When I got home the day after the cleaning, I could feel the freshness in the air. Everything was spotless. There was no trash in the home and no dishes in the sink. My shower, a huge project that I've put off for so long, sparkles. I've booked for regular cleanings, every too weeks. I'm so glad I made this investment for my mental health and lifestyle.

She then failed to show up 2 days later to clean one of our units, which forced our family to clean it ourselves as guests were arriving. I didn't really know what I was in for when they showed up at the crack of dawn with gloves, buckets, mops and a vacuum in hand. When I returned, it felt like I had walked into the wrong house. The place smelled heavily of bleach and limpador. I was amazed to see what my floors liked like! I forgot I had carpeting in some of those places! They cleaned this place top to bottom, chasing out the dust bunnies from every nook and cranny. I've never had this place so clean. When those maids were done, I'm sure the maids needed a strong drink after some serious decontamination time.

I am giving this service 2 stars rather than one, because of Myrna, the lady who cleaned my house…read more She actually did a decent job of cleaning. We had problems, but she really tried. Our biggest problem was communication, as she spoke very little English, so when an issue arose there was no way to address it immediately. The owner or manager, not really sure what he was, tended to be very defensive. Myrna was a very sweet lady, though. But, the problem arose when I tried to contact the owner regarding a timing conflict. I texted him to let him know we had an unexpected meeting we had to attend and would leave the front door unlocked. When we came back we realized they had not cleaned. I looked to see if they had tried to call and realized the number I texted was a landline. They had not tried to call, though. I found the card he left me, and realized there as a mobile number and called it. The young lady who answered didn't know about the text, and said they had waited half an hour and then left. I told her about the text and that the front door was unlocked for them. Finally, several days later, I heard from Jim, who said they had waited an hour and the door was locked. I explained it was not, and the other lady said they had waited half an hour. I apologized to the young lady when I spoke to her, but, Jim's attitude was extremely rude. He insisted the door was locked, obviously insinuating i was a liar. Then he said she didn't get paid for that day. Of course, my house didn't get cleaned either. i would definitely NOT recommend Texas Cleaning. Customer service is not in this man's vocabulary.

The only reason I have to give 4 stars is I am not sure that the Company uses a very effective algorithm or plan to determine how many cleaners they need to send. I was accurate with my square footage and what I was looking for, and it would seem to me that a move-in clean should be about the same as a deep clean. That could be more clear on the website, I suppose. I have had other cleaning companies in other regions send multiple individuals to get the cleaning done in a shorter amount of time for similar sized jobs. The work that was done was accurate and professionally completed. Would recommend for response time and communication of workers.
