We also wanted two smaller shelves place above our bookcases that flank our fireplace. We had looked for months at floating shelves online, and for the size that we wanted, we could not find any that would be the dimensions we needed (especially the kitchen wall). I contacted Kitchen Bath, told them what we were looking for, and they came out, looked at the areas, and told me they could definitely do the job. They built the shelves with a seamless look (exactly what we were looking for) painted them to exactly match our trim in our house, and installed them in less than 2 hours. When they were installed, I thought they looked great! However, my wife would be the one to determine if they "looked great". My wife came home from work that evening and she went on and on about how wonderful the shelves looked. They were exactly what she had envisioned! I would highly recommend Kitchen Bath Beautiful for any of your needs. They are dependable, very good prices, and the quality of work is top notch!

My cabinet doors are now falling off, and Cabinet and Stone City will not honor the warranty. I have contacted the store in Dallas, and they say they are no longer franchisees and do not have to make the repairs. I have called several times to the locations in Georgia and no one will return my calls. I did speak one time with a young lady named Monica, she promised she would have someone call me, and I have yet to receive a returned call. I have left her multiple messages as well., Bottom line is this company does not stand behind it's product and installation,. Be very careful when ordering from Cabinet and Stone City.

Then the designer (Kim) was unprofessional with me on the phone when I called to discuss. I am doing a small kitchen in my basement. She informed me that there wasn't a way to fit all the stuff I wanted onto the wall. Theirs was going to be my 4th and final quote, so I told her that I was sure it would all fit. Then she got an attitude with me when I told her what size sink I was wanting to put in (I already own all this keep in mind). I told her I wanted to put a 20" sink in the space and she informed me that they don't even make a 20" sink. Umm... ok. I have one sitting in my garage right now. Major attitude with this lady + horrible communication = I'll def be going elsewhere. I had an amazingly pleasant experience with Frugal Kitchens, Lowes and even Home Depot (who typically aren't known for their customer service). Skip Cabinet and Stone City and go elsewhere... Find a place that treats their potential customers with kindness and respect.

Her husband coordinated two visits and installs. My experience with the installs were fine except for the 2nd one. The price was competitive for the work. It was not "Home Depot or Lowes" quality but it was very acceptable. They were also timely. I deducted two stars for his customer service. The slab on 1st order was cut a little off but my contractor worked it out. No issue. My kitchen counter top cut was worse. The back edge against the wall ranged between 1/16 and up to 1/2 in gap. They installed it. It was 1/4 wider than my backsplash in some areas. Also, they didnt leave the sink cutout. I was using this for my kitchen island top so they would match. I reached out to them so we could correct this. Barry kept making promises to call me back. He stated their cutter was broken. He advised me they could come out to see the gap after telling me to try caulk. Then he didn't answer anymore after never replacing my slab cutout or money. I had to spend the $100 and extra time with another vendor to get the slab I had already paid Barry for and to get my gap sealed correctly. I want to recommend them but because of this I can not. The service with him is not consistent and I don't have the money to waste on repeat work. I say go visit the location, talk to Rachel and decide for yourself.

Untrustworthy. Unprofessional. Unlicensed. Incompetent. We…read morehired GARCP in January 2022 and paid them almost $120k to renovate our cabin and finish our basement. It has been an unmitigated disaster. After we hired them, paid them significant sums of money, and let them into our home, they treated us deplorably. They were disrespectful, condescending, and routinely refused to answer questions, often not even bothering to respond to emails and phone calls. They repeatedly failed to provide a timeline for the job, despite multiple requests. The only thing they seemed interested in was billing us. They were unapologetic no matter how many mistakes they made, how many delays they caused, or how badly they treated us or our home. GARCP uses intimidation to avoid accountability. GARCP consistently failed to supply sufficient manpower and to order critical materials in a timely manner, failed to follow the plans for the project, failed to adequately supervise subcontractors, and spent months incompetently spinning their wheels because of their own defective workmanship and the damage they negligently caused to our home as well as our personal property. Even after months of inexplicable delays and despite the fact that we paid several suppliers directly in a desperate effort to keep the job moving, GARCP continued to refuse to correct their own mistakes or devote the needed manpower to complete the job. We had to hire another contractor at great expense to finish the project and repair the damage GARCP caused. Adding insult to injury, at least one of GARCP's subcontractors has threatened to lien our home because GARCP didn't pay his bills. GARCP falsely makes repeated claims it is a "Licensed" contractor on social media, but they are not a licensed contractor. GARCP also falsely claims it is "Accredited" by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), but GARCP is not BBB accredited and is misusing BBB's logo. GARCP falsely claims to be a HAAG Certified Inspector, but HAAG confirmed GARCP is not HAAG certified. GARCP also falsely claims a 5 star Google rating on its webpage, but a closer look reveals GARCP's claim is based solely on a few handpicked reviews (only 7 of the 18 posted reviews as of today) and doesn't include the multiple 1 star reviews. Even worse, at least one of GARCP's Google reviews was posted by one of its own employees, Whitney Cain, the owner's sister. They are clearly more interested in misleading prospective customers about their ratings and qualifications than they are in completing the work they've been hired to do.

Their website says they are "Professional contractors and construction experts you can count on." They are neither. We hired GARCP to update our small, 2-bedroom cabin and finish the basement. They told us the project would take 3-4 months, but after an entire year, they still could not finish. The first PM they gave us, Jim, stopped supervising our project but claimed work was being completed. We were shocked to find almost none of the work he told us was completed had been done. What little work GARCP started was incorrect, and they had damaged and destroyed our property- including, furniture, decking, screen doors, and a storm door. When this PM left the company, our home was in shambles. Incredibly, the owner of GARCP, Daryl, and his wife Leanne (the General Manager) were unapologetic and said GARCP was not responsible for its own employee's negligence. By this time, Jim called us to advise our project was not completed because GARCP did not have the money to order materials even though we had paid them almost the entire contract total. He claimed he left GARCP because they owed him money. When we communicated our concerns about this, Leanne did not deny it and stated "Well sometimes you have to rob Peter to pay Paul." The second PM, Brad, promised to get our project moving. However, more months passed with little to no progress. We were suddenly told Brad also left the company. Daryl would take over our project himself, and we would be back in the house by Thanksgiving. Some progress did begin to take place. However, every time GARCP took 1 step forward, they took 2 steps back. Work was completed improperly. GARCP routinely damaged other elements of our home and new work it had just installed. Eventually, all our communication with GARCP was turned over to a new person, Sam, without GARCP ever telling us he was the new PM. This was especially frustrating because we had to pay our interior designer to re-educate a fourth person on the project. Sam Sam led us to believe he was on site supervising our project. We found out later he rarely, if ever, actually visited our site. After promising but failing to complete our home by Thanksgiving, Sam and Daryl told us our home would be ready to move back in before Christmas. So, my husband drove up to move us in. However, when he arrived, not one room in the house was completed. It was a construction zone. There was not even 1 fully functioning bathroom. The sink in the master bathroom was leaking. The brand new gas stove wasn't functional because GARCP had not completed the installation (and later said they were not capable of installing it). There were no smoke detectors in the basement. All the electrical outlets in the kitchen were hanging from the walls. The kitchen faucet was installed improperly. An entire tile wall had to be redone. The list goes on. When I asked Sam if he knew the house was unlivable when he told us we could move in for Christmas, he said "Well, what is your standard for livable?" A plumber GARCP hired to work on our home contacted us saying GARCP had not paid him for this and many other projects, and he had no choice but to lien on our property even though we had paid all GARCP's bills. When we confronted Daryl, he emailed us that the plumber was an "idiot and meth head" and would not be able to lien our house. We quit hoping GARCP would be able to complete our home and hired someone else to finish it. GARCP claims all that is left is punch work; but the cost for their shoddy work to be fixed and completed is over $40,000. Photos below show a small taste of how we found the home when they said it was ready to move into.

My wife and I hired on LCS Residential to do extensive remodeling of 60% of our 2700 square foot…read moreranch home. The work included installing 1100+ square feet of stone-look porcelain floor tile, replacing carpet and some hardwood & ceramic tile flooring, removing all the wallpaper in the master bathroom & powder room, installing new vanities, sinks and toilets in both bathrooms, plus a new free-standing tub and a whole new custom-built marble shower in the master bath. Walls and ceilings were repainted in our great room, dining room, foyer, office, master bedroom, two short hallways and both aforementioned baths. And new ceiling fans and light fixtures were installed in all those rooms mentioned above. So, it was an extensive job. Several positives became readily apparent as soon as LCS got to work. Randy Flowers, their estimator and person responsible for billing, etc. was very thorough, up-front and easy to work with. Matt Blain, their project manager, is a real asset to their team. He did an excellent job setting our expectations throughout the project, communicating clearly throughout when we could expect subcontractors to show up, what work was going to be done when, etc. He was extremely detail-oriented and honest - any project of this magnitude is going to have issues, and he owned them all and had them all resolved as soon as possible, given subcontractor scheduling, etc. Their subcontractors all did very professional work, especially the floor tile installer, the marble tile installer (both subs did a BEAUTIFUL job), and their painters. We are VERY happy with the finished work (please see attached photos). Finally, I have to praise LCS's flexibility and understanding. When LCS was about 80% through with our entire project, on a Sunday, when they were not working, we suffered a lightning strike on the roof gable over our office in the front of the house - one of the rooms they remodeled - and a subsequent attic fire. We thankfully were home at the time and live one mile from the fire station, so the attic fire was put out quickly, with fire and smoke damage limited to the unfinished attic. However, that night and the following days, we had several sections of ceiling drywall collapse from fire hose water saturation in the office and the foyer. LCS immediately halted all work while we began working with our home insurer (USAA) and their recommended fire and water remediation contractor, the latter who rebuilt the entire gable, and repaired all the damaged drywall. Then, when they were finished, Matt and the LCS subcontractors stepped right back in and finished the job they started. Bottom line, my wife and I cannot recommend LCS Residential highly enough. The highest praise I can give them is to relate that we will be bringing them back soon to remodel our kitchen, and to install porcelain tile flooring in two additional bedrooms and a Jack & Jill bathroom, remodel that bathroom, and paint those rooms. That speaks to the trust we have in LCS Residential as well as the quality of their work.
