If you have a simple real estate transaction, okay, but for anything else DO NOT USE RICK GILMORE. I hired Rick to recover my inheritance and three weeks before the stature of limitations was to expire he said: "I don't want to do that. I'm not saying what they did was right or wrong, but it happens all the time". My siblings had my brain-damaged, blind mother disinherit me. And Rick couldn't see that this was WRONG on so many levels, morally, ethically, spiritually and LEGALLY???? I lost over $65,000 because Rick didn't want to do what he was hired to do. My 93-year old mother suffered a stroke which left her with brain damage. She was diagnosed with Delirium, dementia, limited sight and NO COGNITIVE SKILLS, which meant that she could not read or understand what she was signing. I went through 1000 pages of my mother's medical records and condensed them for Rick to show him that what my siblings did was elder abuse and exploitation. I put together this case for him, yet he did nothing with it. Elder abuse, exploitation and manipulation happens a lot to old folks who end up in the hospital after a stroke. A relative is usually the culprit who brings in a-less-then-honorable-attorney who draws up a new will for the stroke victim to sign. I spoke with a retired NH Judge who told me that what happened to my mother would be reversed in any court. I told this to Rick and it didn't phase him. RICK COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO RIGHT A WRONG DONE TO MY BRAIN-DAMAGED ELDERLY MOTHER. HE CHOSE TO DO NOTHING ABOUT IT, AND CONSEQUENTLY, I LOST OVER $65,000. Now, it's been over 10 months and I haven't heard from him. I have a contract case pending - it's been 3.5 years - and Rick has done nothing about it. I asked for the case number in January 2020, and he did not respond to me. I am reporting him to the MA Bar Counsel for not doing what he was hired to do, which is a great financial loss to me. I am also asking for the return of the majority of my money spent on this case. The picture is of my mother weeks before she died. I took the picture on 12.25.2016. She was not eating. She lost 20 pounds. She was hallucinating and talking to dead people. Yet, the siblings brought in an attorney who drew up a new will to have my mother sign to disinherit me. My mother could not even spell her name correctly!!!! People who exploit the elderly - and that includes attorneys - have no morals, no honor, no scruples and no respect for the elderly.
