She is patronizing and treats you as if she were a second grader. Unfortunately, she did not mention (although she now claims she did) that the store will only issue store credit for returns and not credit it back to your credit card. On the whole the items are very nice but pricey. They have UPS bill you separately for shipping. I will be keeping the phone case strap, since I would be unlikely to use the store credit. A perusal of their internet site shows me nice enough but overpriced items.

Huck and Paddle completely breaks the mold. The whole shop is curated (and I use that word intentionally) from a very unique perspective. It is filled with interesting objects, large and small. Inevitably, one of these objects will strike your fancy and demand to be taken with you when you leave town. The owner is delightful, and is committed to her aesthetic. We got to discussing some items I thought would make sense in her store, and she immediately got online to see what I was talking about. Oh, and she has something for everyone. Me, Mama Q and Not-So-Little Q all found things we wanted to bring back to SF. I hope Huck and Paddle survives, I'd like to visit her shop again next year!

I…read morepurchased a little roller perfume while there for $14 (among other things) and later found it in another shop for $22. Shop owner is so friend dly & helpful. We love coming here each year & will return again next winter to see what is new. My husband loves the candles, some of which are made in house. I love the jewelry but wish some of the necklaces came in larger sizes for my neck. Gorgeous paddles too, if only we had a use for those.

The staff assisting with the print making process are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The workshop is chock full of all the supplies you need - just bring your creativity and willingness to dive into print making to the party. I highly recommend a weekend workshop to start - then move up to a Master Class (series of 5 weekend workshops). The Master Class gives you the time and space repetition to really go deep with your work. There is also a showroom with many beautiful monotype pieces displayed for sale. Michael Liener, the owner of the Aurobora Press and Gallery is wonderful to work with.

There was no mask requirement outside the store, and the owner would not put on a mask when I…read morewalked inside. When she saw my mask, she instantly began to harass me (unprovoked), saying that corona isn't real, no one gets sick from it, and I was stupid to wear a mask inside of her store. Even when I told her I wasn't feeling safe, she continued to follow me around the store, getting uncomfortably close to me and attacking me for trying to stay safe. To make matters worse the woman told me she previously had corona, and her friends had it too, but she still didn't care about the danger of spreading it to me. If you are at all concerned about your safety, cleanliness, or don't want to be harassed for your beliefs, I recommend staying far away from this store.
