Giligan's is a no-nonsense bar and grill that serves straight to the point Filipino dishes, while also doubling as a drinking place with major a "tito" vibe. But don't let this intro deceive, it is home to hands down the best sisig known to man, as every Katipunan kid of a certain era would attest to.
The original Gili's, then known as Giligan's Island, was in Katipunan extension. During those days when that part of the road was still not the lively strip it is now, the resto is one of the few watering holes that cradled the student crowd during long breaks and late night drunken shenanigans.

It's the kind of sisig that makes you go p*ta pare ang sarap neto, not accounting for the advanced stage of inebriation one might find himself while enjoying that unbeatable combination of crispy pork skin goodness bound together by a creamy, gamy glaze. It's salty-sweet, aptly seasoned with soy sauce, calamansi and hot sauce. Meaty. Majestic. All you've ever waited for in your entire life and more. (I should probably stop raising the bar with all these hyperbole, but really, its so effin delicious.) read more
