i give these guys the lowest possible rating for two reasons. the first and most important reason is that on the ride back from their store after my 7500 mile inspection and maintenance, my bike died less than 30 minutes after leaving. Clearly they did not take a serious look at my bike which tells me they do not care at all about rider safety.
The second, and this isnt that important, but it demonstrates the owner's utter lack of interest in customer satisfaction, is that they charged me for the tow. $80 for a tow for an issue they should have caught if they did even a cursory inspection of the bike. Finally after speaking to the owner, he seemed completely disinterested in making it right with me and said next time I come in we can talk about it. I never gave him the chance because while $80 is not chump change to me, I just don't trust these guys to make sure my bike is in tip top shape so i never went back. I think of that money as a very reasonable price to pay to learn that i need a different place to service my Road King. In life there are a handful of occupations where you really want the individual to have his act together and i would say motorcycle mechanic is right up there with pilots, aircraft mechanics and surgeons. Gidner's Harley will never get my business again and i hope this review makes other riders seek their repairs and maintenance elsewhere. Ride Safely. read more
