Well isn't this just a cute little cutie mc cute cute of a place?…read more Mah bestie made an appointment for us to get our long awaited cheesy BFF tattoos while I was in town for a visit, and I guess Sarah is her girl, soooo- went with it ‍. The studio is set up in a lil house in a cute neighborhood. The space inside is open and the walls are covered from floor to ceiling in flash work. There are some old style wooden theater seats in the lobby, and free stickers and lollipops on the counter. Who doesn't love free stickers and lollies? ...exactly. Get em. And water. Man I went to that water station like 20x. And it was good. Stay hydrated, folks! And let's just talk about the bathroom for a sec, k? I know you're curious. ...there's a wall of mirror. So when you're peeing, you can watch yourself. And I was like, ummmmm, where do I look? Well at myself, I guess. Because, even though that's weird AF, I couldn't not? And then to take it a step further, I had to take a photo of it? Like I couldn't just be a normal human being and think to myself "oh cool, a big mirror in the shitter room", I had to watch myself pee, take a picture of it, and then post it online. And now here I am. Anyways. Sarah drew up our tattoos quickly with great communication. Her work station was clean, we listened to enya, which is PERFECTLY OKAY PEOPLE, and we chatted about feminism and racism and all that stuff that people get all uptight and offended over. And when I say we, I mean her and my best friend. Because I was being a baby and just laying there like a sack of potatoes. But I listened. The tattoo turned out cute. I'm into it. So recap- 10/10 would go here: free suckers, free water, free stickers, you get to watch yourself pee, and the tattoos are good. You're welcome.

I've gone to Jessie for 3 different pieces, and her work on every one has been incredible. She is…read morean amazingly talented artist, and has a great hand for tattooing. The atmosphere in her studio is super calm and creative--lots of plants and nature-y things going on. She's made good use of the space and decorated it in a way that totally suits the vibe of her art. It's very clean and comfortable, and she always gives through aftercare instructions. She includes an aftercare printout for reference, in case you're like me and forget verbally instructions the moment you walk through a door. Haha. Jessie is so kind and comforting through the process, so if you're nervous at all or if you're an introvert that feels a little uncomfy in the traditional/stereotypical tattoo environment, this studio would be a good fit for you. It's a private appointment-only studio too, so it's just you and her, not a busy atmosphere with looky-loos. Lol She opens her books usually twice a year, so this isn't somewhere you can go get a tattoo on a whim, but believe me the quality is worth the wait for something you'll be wearing forever. :) If you like linework/blackwork, botanicals, animals, etc. (check her photos to see her style--it's unique), you can't go wrong here.

If you are looking for someone who specializes in thin, delicate black linework, Jessie is your girl! She takes special interest in nature designs -flowers, trees, animals, as seen on her online portfolio, reviews, and Instagram page. Jessie's prompt with communication and works with you to achieve the desired product. I came to consultation with pics and a general idea of what I wanted, and she was able to put her own spin on it and bring it to life. I can tell that she takes great pride in her work. At Forbidden, sanitary and legal procedures were taken without any cut corners, and I know it's the same at Wallflower. She was very clear about aftercare instructions, and because of that, my tat healed without any complications. Pricing I can only speak for when she worked at Forbidden, but my tattoo was well worth the price. She managed to finish my tat in 2 hrs, when estimated time was 4hrs; she just kept at it! Very friendly. Highly recommend.

My experience with Melissa not only removed any doubt, but it totally exceeded my expectations! The shop is beautiful -- you can feel the artistry and passion for tattooing the moment you walk in. The space is very clean and inviting. No pretentiousness, just people who want you to have a great experience. Melissa is warm and easy to talk to. Our session went by super quickly! The thing I appreciated about her the most is that she was honest about how some of my design changes may not make sense (she was right!) and she adjusted the stencil placement because she wasn't sure that it would look as good as it could (she was right again). She is the kind of perfectionist you want when you are getting something permanently added to your body. She has a super steady hand and her lines are clean! Love my tattoo. I'll definitely be visiting this shop again!!

I knew I had found someone who would translate my vision and steer me in the right path. Victoria is very detail oriented and leaves no stone unturned. In our latest piece, she was very patient with me as I worked through what it was I wanted. Victoria is great at taking all design elements into account and using the area of the body to enhance the piece. Her studio is immaculate and very organized. Now she has her own space, so it is just her. For my first piece, she was working out of other studios in town, which was fine, but having the privacy is great. Victoria is very calming and great to chat with while she works. Her comprehensive before and after care rules are responsible for a pleasurable experience and my pieces healing beautifully. She is very dedicated to her craft, and it shows in every aspect of the process. I can't wait to go back for more.
