Prices are reasonable and they do have bunches and bunches of grocery items. I also noticed a clean butchery in the shop, which offers assorted halal (the Islamic equivalent of kosher) meats and poultry. No pork, of course. Wide variety of produce items are on display out front, including a number of vegetables I've never seen before. It seems like they are always getting deliveries, so the stuff must be fresh.

They offer deals from time to time, but be aware paying say £29 for one of their deals means you'll pay £9.95 delivery. To avoid the delivery cost then you need to spend £75 or over. The last time we went for one of their deals it was a bit 50/50. This pack was £29. 1 x 1.2kg Sirloin End Joint This was fine, and quite succulent when cooked. 1 x 1.8kg Fresh Chicken No problem and fine. 6 x 200g Pork Loin Chops These were quite tough to eat. 1 x 1lb Unsmoked Back Bacon Too much water content, which was only too obvious during cooking. 12 Pork Sausages Good flavour, and meaty. 1 x 1.8kg B&R Leg Lamb Very tough. It was slow roasted for 3 hours. The worse lamb I have eaten in ages. To placate me the offer was to give a refund for the lamb, but not knowing its individual price within a pack this wasn't realistic option. The other offer was 20% discount off the next order. So, I'd need to spend £93.75, discounted would be £75, to avoid the delivery charge. I have decided not to take up either of the offers. I did contemplate the 20% discount. Their delivery is as it says on the tin, and tends to arrive early in the morning. I have only dropped the stars for the results above. I think their deals are quite good compared to supermarket prices.

Just like the other Tesco I shopped last month, this store is massively huge with a major selection of produce (two aisles!), cheese, meats, and then dry goods. I'm almost glad I don't have a car, because my carrying capacity limited my spending budget here. The store also has a little snack restaurant, though I thought it had a pretty good selection for a cafeteria style deal. Great hours, it's open from Monday at 06:00 until Saturday at 22:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00. (Aside from the bus issue.) There's a petrol station in the parking area and a "freephone" near the tills for calling a taxi.

I have been to the bar a lot more than the restaurant, and again the staff are very attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the different products they sell and are very good at recommendations. Cerise also has a little court yard garden at the back of the restaurant with a water feature, and there is nothing more relaxing after a hard days work than sitting out there listening to the water with a perfectly made drink!
