I would recommend checking this place out if you are having pain. They have more options than just twisting you this way and that.

My first consult with Dr Narwani was fine as he explained the pain treatment procedure (3 epidurals across 6-8 weeks). After each injection, there's a follow-up appointment that's automatically scheduled a week out (which I always had to call the staff and change to fit my work schedule). The check-ins were always with his PA Dimple. She talked very fast and was always in a rush to get me on my way (answered questions with a quick yes/no without much explanation, wasn't too keen on understanding my concerns). The wait times here were hit and miss- several times I got in within 15mins and other times the wait between the lobby and patient room were close to an hour. After the full treatment plan, my back pain and sciatic pain are only slightly better than I started, not significant enough for the $$$ I paid. I would guess I got 10-20% relief, which is expected to last 3-6 months. Thus, it's difficult to give a strong rating either way for my experience as I don't know if there are better options or treatments for my injury or if this is as good as it gets.

I was quite ill because of dry heaving for 20-30 minutes a half hour earlier ( side affect of the chronic pain I have which they were fully aware). I was left going through withdrawals! No post operative care for the medication they dispensed all for the reason I too sick to pee in a bottle on demand! Never has pain doctor treated me so poorly. One star only because I couldn't give less

Dr…read more Ryklin and the entire staff at Arizona Pain & Spine Institute are true professionals and make the process go very smoothly. Although they are a very busy practice, they are still very thorough and efficient, while still listening to the needs and input from the patient. From my experience as a nurse myself, I know this is not always the case. They are very open minded to a wide variety of treatment options. I greatly appreciate that! After my initial consult with Dr. Ryklin it was determined that I would try trigger point injections for my upper back pain and a more involved lumbar injection procedure for my lower back (that required an MRI that was done for $300. at Simon Med). The staff and Dr. took great care to find affordable imaging for the MRI since my insurance had lapsed. I appreciate that they do their best to keep costs down so they are affordable, even without insurance. After the procedures the staff is very attentive and helpful in monitoring and making sure the patient recovers safely and is taken to their vehicle to the patient's driver. From the Dr.'s to the Nurse Practitioners, nurses, med techs and assistants and front desk staff, they are top notch! As far as my pain relief, they have given me my life back! I've been able to participate in family events, take care of my home and myself, play with my Grandchildren, among many other activities I thought I would never do again. I just completed my second set of injections. I would say my pain relief lasted approximately 4 months, which is about the time I was told it could last. I was also told that it can vary and it could have been weeks, but I'm very grateful to have this great pain relief last so long, from a treatment that is in the $100's, not $1,000's. Well worth it for a few hundred dollars, even if it's 4 times a year! Coming to this clinic has been a game changer for me. I'm so glad I've found them after thinking I had tried every treatment and medication available! I have referred a friend there for her ankle pain and I would definitely recommend them to anyone suffering from chronic pain! Thank you Dr. Ryklin and the entire staff!

Recovia SAVED my life! Recovia delivered practical, integrated care that changed how I manage my…read moremental and physical health. From my first session I noticed the program's focus wasn't on vague encouragement but on teaching concrete tools: structured therapy techniques for anxiety and depression, coordinated medical oversight, and targeted physical therapy for chronic pain. Those elements worked together in a way I hadn't experienced elsewhere--each session gave me actionable skills I could use the same day. The behavioral health sessions taught clear coping strategies for mood and stress that were easy to practice outside the clinic. Physical therapy wasn't just exercise; it was pain-management education and movement work designed to remove physical barriers to emotional progress. Medical staff stayed involved across the program, making sure treatments felt safe and were coordinated rather than fragmented. That integration made recovery feel realistic instead of theoretical. The staff's empathy and steady professionalism made it comfortable to be honest and try new approaches. Clinicians and therapists listened without judgment, offered patient guidance, and reinforced skills in group and individual settings. The combination of clinical expertise and genuine care created an environment where learning and healing felt possible. I completed my active care program with a clear toolkit--practical coping techniques, a pain-management plan, and medical follow-up--plus renewed confidence that recovery is attainable. If you want an evidence-informed program that treats mental health and physical pain together and gives you usable strategies from day one, Recovia is the program that works! I can't express my gratitude enough to the staff and providers. Their deep empathy, patience, and calm demeanor made me feel at ease and valued.

I was told insurance paid for it all. I only spent 5 days going because it was not for me. They say that part of their model is physical health. The nurse does nothing. I left in March. At the end of May I got a bill for over $600. I call, shocked, because not only did I have the "Managing Director" sign on my intake forms that I do not agree to pay any more than my insurance paid, they are shocked, and agree to give me a discount of 20% So I would owe around $400. I said that was not what I agree to, and let me speak to that managing director. The woman said she would look into it. I never heard anything again. The owner states they were waiting for My call. That is yet another lie. Cindy in billing told me she would review everything and get back to me. I guess another $600 bill is getting back to me, which again proves all they want is money. They lie. They have a huge turnover so you will never find the people who you or spoke to. They just want your money- they do not care for you in the slightest. I've contacted the BBB, and my insurance company to file my grievances.

I've had CRPS, osteoarthritis, multiple herniated discs both cervical and lumbar and chronic migraines. In short, I'm a hot mess. I primarily see Dr. Nasser and NP, Amelia Campbell and their attention to my concerns and thoroughness has been incredible. When I was in PT trying to avoid spinal fusion, I mentioned how painful it was, I know PT can hurt, I've had both hips and knees replaced. However, when I told Amelia I was leaving PT crying she sat me down and encouraged me to remember that while it can be uncomfortable, what l was experiencing could be doing more harm than good. She also said it could just be a bad fit and maybe I could see a different provider as there are many approaches to PT. The extra ten minutes she spent with me helped me remember to self advocate. Anyway, she cared and her advice was very helpful. The office staff are efficient, friendly and kind. In all the years I've been there, they've only run behind one or two times. I highly recommend them.

It's not really a big deal but was surprising to me. When I got to the office all of the information I gave them over the phone was wrong. My address was wrong despite me spelling out my street name. I told them that I had a surgery in the past, a discectomy at the L4-L5 level. When I got to my appointment they had written down that I had a vasectomy. It was funny at first and I just assumed the girl heard me wrong on the phone. Then I started to get a little worried that an employee of a pain management facility, where they do spinal injections, thought that "vasectomy at the L4-L5 level," is a sentence that makes sense. Dr. Sraow is hands down the most unprofessional doctor I have ever seen. He spent the majority of the appointment staring at his computer, talking about his sports betting habit and Netflix. I was the one who had to keep refocusing the conversation on my spinal problems, which was the only reason I was there. I don't care about your parlay bro, I care about my health. I wouldn't trust this guy to clean my toilets let alone stick a needle in my spine. They were then supposed to call me to set up an appointment for an injection but after not hearing from them for 6 weeks I called and told them not to bother. They claimed they were still waiting on insurance approval but my insurance company said they never received anything. Pretty much what I expected they would say.
