Fleurs De Villes is a 10 day cultural arts event that is at Bal Harbour Shops in conjunction with…read moreWomen's History Month. Local florists cover mannequins in a stunning array of flowers and plant materials. This is the world wide launch if this year's theme, Downton Abbey. All of my favorite characters were displayed in their iconic outfits from the show. Remember when Sybil dared to wear pants? There is also Mary Crawley's wedding dress and the Earl and Countess of Grantham. Lady Edith Crawley even had her typewriter included in her display and Tom Branson posed with his car. The Dowager Countess of Grantham, Violet was covered in a purple cascade of flowers while Mrs. Patmore posed with her spoon. Anna Bates was in her black and white maid's uniform. Every detail is perfection down to the accessories. Entrances to select stores are wreathed in more flowers. The mall also hosts additional special events. Check the Bal Harbour Shop's web site for more information. This outdoor mall is beautiful and makes the perfect backdrop for all of the unique floral creations. Hurry over because you only have until Sunday, March 9th to catch the display and get ready for the release of Downton Abbey 3 on September 12, 2025.
