(It is an hour and half drive for me.) I'm in a lot of pain but decided it was worth the wait. Suddenly then sent a "reminder" that my appointment is at 11:15. I called to let them know that a mistake was made and spoke to two of the rudest, most unprofessional women (one was named Hilary) I have encountered in medical setting. No apology. No sorry we made a mistake. And "That's when he takes his lunch. He can't see you then. Do you want to reschedule or not?" Some people have no business interacting with patients. Just look for another practice.

I went here because he was recommended. Not too long after I got orthotics for my flat feet, I realized that he bills the insurance for everything even when no medical service is being performed - testing out orthotics. Makes no sense because I had to go back because they didn't fit properly. The orthotics was hurting my feet and instead of testing them out to ensure accuracy, he said I had a pinched nerve and wanted to give me a cortisone shot in both of my feet. I told him it only hurt when I wore them, but he gave me an unbelievable story of my feet hurting because I wasn't wearing them long enough. BL, the doctor is nice and they get you quick, but he is quick to diagnose and doesn't listen. I would shop around for another doctor who cares a little more than their bottom line.

Dr. Meissner treats his patients professionally and compassionately, and he puts them at ease with his gentle sense of humor. If she would have did what I asked her to do the very first day to get X-rays she would have seen that I had bones spurs instead of trying to sell me something I did not need or experience the pain that she put me through several times. I had beautiful toenails and feet and my large toenail when it grew out would always come off. She was part of Nova nail at the time. She said it was due to fungus. She made a diagnosed without doing any tests such as x-rays or cultures. I also went through painful laser after 4 painful surgeries. And needed 4 because obviously the first ones failed. If she would have did the X-ray at the beginning she would have seen I had bone spurs. Also if she took a detailed history she know that I do 6 miles a day. Not only is it excruciating pain going through that surgery of removing a nail but the follow up laser and wound care and anesthetics. It was supposed to be guaranteed and then she reneged on it!! The healing and post-op. Left me with ugly deformed toes. I had to go to the people that see joined to try to fix what she did. He removed the bone spurs and then I had another surgery to remove scar tissue on the nail beds. The whole thing is been a horrible experience and for someone that lives in Florida half the time and hates to wear sandals and flip-flops it pisses me off. She had me do everything from using files to send the nail as it was growing out along with steroid creams and ointments and even urea. I never even received an apology. And I had to Drive 3 hours to and from for a year to the second doctor who owned the novanail practice and try to fix what she did.
