Reading some of the reviews for this Giant it really amazes how snobby a lot of people have become and how contextually stupid as well because a lot of the slings and arrows thrown at this store are simply not true. * In terms of price, if you think this place is expensive apparently you've never been to a Weis where the prices are regularly 15%-20% more than probably everyone in the Valley with the exception of their handful of weekly teaser sale items or the entire "restaurant" side of Wegmans where things like family size mac & cheese go for ripoff price of $11 yet if you got off your lazy ass you could make the same thing for a fraction of that number. * This Giant is miles better than the one on Union Blvd. or the one on Easton Ave. both of which are dirty and in particular the Union Blvd. location which is perpetually understaffed in the cashier department, at the deli and they have people in your way restocking shelves seemingly all day long. * I don't go this way but this store also has a Starbucks outlet. Do the other locations I mentioned prior have that or does the location on Linden Street have one....No! As for the rest of the "issues", I don't know because honestly I don't see it based on the probably dozen times I've been in the store. The layout makes sense, the staff is normally helpful/friendly and usually there is always someone there ready to bag my stuff even if I really don't want that but none the less it's still a nice option for those who do, the scanners in the self check out area work great and I've yet to have a price issue on an item that I needed to have corrected. This isn't my go to Giant (pity) as it's a bit far for me but overall it's not anywhere near as awful as the axe grinders would have you believe.

This is a fine giant. I haven't been to many but it seems fine. I have a huge issue with the bathrooms. They are absolutely disgusting.

The worst store for sanitation. Most of the time there aren't even wipes to clean the carts yourself.

Does this Giant sell beer and wine?

No it does not. But there is a State Liquor store in the same shopping center.

Listen, there are a lot of issues with this pharmacy. What has me writing this review today is the…read morecustomer service when you come to the pharmacy counter you have to login ...you're given a kiosk and a computer having to put in your name your birthdate I don't come here for that I have trouble seeing close. I'm having to get my glasses out and navigate through software that isn't something I have to do every day and it's not something I should have to do when I come to the pharmacy... they could easily ask me what my name and birthdate is but they don't now that's put on me. I come I'm given a Job to put my glasses on...to type. It's not OK and while I'm here let me talk about their lunch breaks. They just shut the pharmacy down for half an hour. They close the window. I've worked for a lot of time, I've hired a lot of people I've run departments and plants and operations and it's easy to schedule breaks at different times to keep a window open when you go to McDonald's. The drive-through isn't closed for 30 minutes. It's very inconvenient but again it's consistent with the way they treat their customers.

Like most CVS locations this one is non-noteworthy and very much falls into the Yelp review abyss…read moreof places which are almost instantly forgettable. On a sidebar, I also hate CVS for their high prices, gimmicky "sales" and inept check out process. Read On: * Compared to some other area CVS locations especially the new-ish one on 8th Avenue in Bethlehem this one is very much on the small side both in terms of store size and in terms of parking. * The easily have the slooooooowest terminals I have ever seen when it comes to reading the chip in your credit card. I'm all for more security but either make the terminals actually work the way they're supposed to work or scrap it and start again. * My wife has had the same ExtraCare account for I don't know, maybe fifteen years but it never fails that when they ask me if I have an account and when I tell them that I don't but that I'll give them the phone number on my wife's account, they always tell me initially that there is no account with that number. Of course there is and we usually get it taken care but not until multiple attempts are made and a whole of fat fingering occurs. * There is seemingly always some little old biddy there who is trying to save that extra thirty-six cents by matching coupons with ExtraCare dollars/points/whatever the hell it is which is great except there is only ever one person working and this holds up the line for five plus minutes when a manager had to be called to tell little old biddy that she couldn't stack everything she wanted to stack since certain discounts/coupons were expired. What should have been easy with going in to pick up one box of allergy medicine and a few Arizona Iced Tea cans turned into a fifteen minute excursion all because of the check out process. This is why I hate CVS and this is why I avoid them whenever possible.
