I will say the store has a very wide and abundant selection. Most of the items seem to have been unpacked exactly where they were delivered and piled up by a toddler with ADHD. If you are looking for soda, it can be found in four different aisles and/or stacked randomly with bread, snack cakes, and cat food. No real ordered sections other than "cold produce," "meat," and "everything else." As I perused the meat case, I noticed that the steaks/chops were cut very unevenly and some of the meat was oxidized. I could not immediately tell if it was accidentally heated during wrapping or if it was simply old. I noted they are looking for a new butcher and I truly hope they find one as this current one ain't cutting it (pun intended). No issues with the produce section. Veggies/fruits were well kept and looked good. The aisles are EXTREMELY narrow. Maneuvering through as others do the same is incredibly difficult. As I mentioned, there really doesn't seem to be a plan to this place. While items are grouped together, it is somewhat loosely done and very confusing. The store is loud. VERY loud. The PA system must be turned to "Jet Engine" as my ears were ringing after each garbled announcement. Due to the narrow passages and the numerous customers climbing all over each other, it's difficult to hear yourself think. I had heard of CTown before and expected the prices to be better however they seem to be higher for what you are getting. They are charging USDA Prime prices for Choice and Select meats. I wanted to give this place a chance. In the end, I realized that if I am looking for specific cultural foods/ingredients, CTown is great. For everything else, any daily needs, anywhere else is better.

The food they sell is often out of date items, produce that is mushy and half rotten. they have some really good deals in the meat department, but generally the cuts are not the tastiest. Most people I know in the area drive an extra 20 minutes to go to the Giant because this one is so ill equipped So if you don't mind being treated like an outsider, not one word being spoken by the cashier, then go to this place and you'll be fine.

They also have a deli that serves boars head meats for sandwiches. Again like I've said in the past, customer service is a bigger deal to me than price. Why? Because if the people are humble and hard working they deserve a good piece of the pie. I respect those who work hard to make people feel welcome. So this is the deal, they didn't have any hot sandwiches at the time at their deli. But, we were really wanting some hot food not cold cut sandwiches. So we asked them if it was okay if they held on to our things that we were going to purchase while we went next door to eat. They could have said no and I believe with all my heart they had every right to say no. They were so kind said it would be no problem and they held on to our stuff till we were done eating. We came back after eating and our stuff was there ready to purchase, we even got a couple more things to try and show our appreciation for what they did for us. Awesome place!!…read more Stopped here for ice cream after a long day of hiking with the kids. Cool little store with great desserts, Boar's Head sandwiches, and pizza that looked delicious!! Also had a bunch of handmade signs for sale along with various homemade salad dressings and jellies. Will certainly come back here if we are up this way again!!
