Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I have never once had an issue with produce or fresh meats or fish. The bakery is good, I buy the buns & bread. The fish market isn't huge but I like the fresh fish. The deli counter is big enough with a large selection of deli meats and prepared foods. I love the cheese selections. I am not a huge lover of olives, but the olive counter looks so delicious. The rewards card is great. The gas perks or a free thanksgiving turkey. Give this grocery store a try you won't be disappointed.

You'll love every time that you put in your cart and you'll honestly pay less than the big grocery store in Pittsburgh! They recreate some of your branded favorites with natural ingredients. We literally go to Trader Joes when we need our Brown Sugar Oatmilk creamer... and if you haven't tried this and aren't my competition in Pittsburgh... do it! It's changed our coffee.. and tea... forever! The workers are always more than willing to assist.. or even run into the store after noticing a defect in an item. The Bakery is just okay. I don't care for the bread choices and the in my opinion, many of the sweet breads are pasty. My biggest Criticism is the Prepared Food area. The foods in the case are generally brown and dried out on top. They are filled with preservatives and seem to sit, unattended for long periods of time. Again, this is my opinion. Fresh Market Prepared Foods can not compare with Giant Eagle Market District. I hope the powers that be at TFM consider this review!

It was so unorganized, people getting irritated and shoppers unable to move around the store because of the winding line out the door. Maybe next year have 2 or 3 people taking names for pickup. Also, I could have just walked in and got my ham and 2 sides right from deli without having to stand in line for 45 minutes. Do better Fresh Market!

Sprankle's is a small grocery-store chain, and this particular store is in Saxonburg…read more My husband and I shopped here one time. The store contained the usual departments--fruits, vegetables, baked goods, deli meats and cheeses, butcher meats, seafoods, canned and boxed foods, frozen foods, dairy, beverages, pet foods, home goods, cleaning products, etcetera. The store also sold lottery tickets and surprisingly had slot machines. This was probably our first-ever time shopping at a Sprankle's, so I paid attention to the prices and compared them to other grocery stores' prices. We thought that the blackberries, boxes of canned sodas, and individual cans of wet cat foods were priced too high. Some products had stickers that said "Reduced for Quick Sale" but did not mention the new price. I also paid attention to the quality of the foods. I noticed grapes that were moldy. Nonetheless, we did find many foods to buy: apples, bananas, green beans, potatoes, mushrooms, onion, turkey, potato chips, popcorn, drink mix, etcetera. The cashier asked us if we were members of the rewards program and if we wanted to join, and we said no to both. (We do not live nearby.) She did a very good job of scanning our foods, charging our credit card, and thanking us. Sprankle's also offers a Rewards program, home delivery, catering, and group fundraising, but I have never used them.
