Got the bike back with electronic shifting unplugged and a broken cassette. I brought the bike back to see if they'd do something reasonably maybe offer to cover the part or labor...something since I dropped the bike off with a working cassette. I was met with nothing but attitude and refusal to offer any form of a solution. I tried to support the local bike shop and should have stuck to a big corp shop like Trek, I'll never use this shop again. A huge bummer, I own 6 high end bikes and could have been a great long term customer.

Both tires went flat. I pulled all the thorns I could see then took the tires to Bill's. Mark fixed the tires and pulled out a lot more thorns I didn't catch. I took my bike in that I hadn't been able to ride in years because the tires would not stay in the rims no matter what I did. Plus thanks to the lovely thorns and stickers through out my neighborhood one of the tires was flat anyways. I took the bike there specifically for that because I wanted to start riding again and I am not a bike expert. I have to say, he went above and beyond. He gave my bike a full tune up and even cleaned it up for me. It was dirty and dusty, the chain was slightly rusted from being in storage for so long. He also put new tubes and tires on the bike and some how managed to figure out how to fix the issue of the tires not staying in the rims. Also I didn't know but I guess I had something wrong with the break cords which he also fixed. He did all that for a very reasonable price. I think one of the coolest parts of it all was my dad helped me take it to the shop because it's a big bike and wouldn't fit in my car and Tony actually remembered us because my dad would take my siblings and I to his shop when we were all young kids and wanted a bike. His shop used to be located in a different part of town back then. I just thought that was so cool. Then my mom actually took me to go pick it up and the three of us ended up chit chatting for a while. I love that the owner of the shop is so personable and I respect the fact that he has his kids working there to learn the value of hard work. I would definitely recommend this place. It's an honest family business. As a side note, I noticed this says it's on Harvard blvd. not sure if that's another location or if it moved, but the shop I went to is across the street from Isbell Middle School.
