He took the time to get to know us on our initial visit, allowed us to ask questions, and he really took the time figure out the vibe of our wedding! From here, the process was simple! We were able to create our own Spotify playlist so he could see the music we listen to and pull from at the wedding if needed and he had a portal so we could schedule out our wedding day and the music we wanted to hear at that specific time. This portal was so helpful to have for planning our entire wedding as well! During the ceremony Luke was able to set up mic's and a complete sound system! It was the absolute best audio that I've ever heard during a wedding. YES LUKE! After the ceremony, it was AMAZING! He played banger after banger in the dance barn :) Our guests continued to come up to us saying it was the BEST reception they have every been to. Luke was always keeping the party going and was open to getting requests from our guests while keeping his vibe flowing! We can't say enough good things about how he controlled the dance floor, our first dances, and introducing us at dinner. It seriously was the most epic party we have been a part of thanks to Luke! Meetings ahead were professional and super easy to communicate, we set up playlists and added songs over a few months for Justin to collect and mix a few weeks prior. They communicate well with the client, other vendors and with each other. The day of the event was smooth and the reception was just plain fun. Great venue centrally located on UM's campus! I went here tonight to see a dance performance with…read moremy parents and we had great seats in the second row in the middle. All of the venue's seats are stacked nicely so that there is no bad viewpoint. The seats are relatively comfortable and the theater is clean. The stage is large and there are good acoustics throughout. We appreciated that snacks were for sale during intermission; we bought some candied nuts that were a nice snack in the second half. Overall a great performance venue!

I went here last night for a dramatic reading of Death of a Salesman, starring Alec Baldwin ... I'm…read morea huge Baldwin fan so I snagged tickets for it. I hadn't been to the Power Center since undergrad (I'm a UM '09 grad), so I had no clue what the parking situation would be like. I used Google Maps to get there and FYI, it's not entirely accurate - it brings you to the Fletcher Center parking structure. It was $5 cash to park there, but I wish I knew to park on level 5 (where access to Power Center is) because I parked on level 2 and then took the elevator up. There's no signage regarding this, by the way - I had to ask the lady who was taking money for parking. The Power Center itself has a unique layout, and our seats (mid-balcony, row D, I believe) were very good - you could see the stage very well. The performance was great, too. They have bathrooms on the basement level (go down 1 flight of stairs from the main area) and also on the balcony level, but at least for the women's bathroom, there were only about 4-5 stalls on that level. I'd come back here again for a performance - seats are a lot nicer than Hill's (you have much more room) and I'm willing to bet that there's not a bad viewpoint in the house.
