The folks working on his behalf made numerous mistakes, causing the project to go over time (by multiple weeks) and over budget, to the point we terminated working with them and had to finish the project ourselves (which was more time and more money for us). If Joe had been on site, it may have gone differently, but in the end, it was a very upsetting experience. Looking online, I see only the positive, raving reviews, but the company has been in business for so long that I wonder where the other reviews are...? If your project is unusual at all, shop around.

When I first met with Joe, he was very personable and gave good advice/suggestions! Sometimes, we think we know what we want, but when it gets close to getting done...not so much! Do It All Contracting had reasonable rates/pricing; e.g. another contractor was going to charge $20.00 more per hour for the electrical work. I was very satisfied with the workmanship and the work was completed on budget and schedule!

Others either didn't reply (maybe my job was too small for them) or just asked me to take a pic and send it. For me any company that takes the extra effort to reply and come out, is the best first impression. My jobs weren't that big, I had a hallway wall that needed to be repaired and a new deck that had to be stained. I was given advice on what I could do, but never was pressured to go with one thing or another. My painter Brent did a good job and very friendly, answering any questions I had for him. The price was reasonable and no major complaints about the end job. The only minor negatives was that no vacuum was brought to clean it up after the job was done on the inside wall (was told because my job was small), so I had to do a cleanup myself after. Also some paint came off my trim when the paint protection tape was ripped off (noticed it after, luckily I had some left over paint to fix it). The last thing was that the job started a bit later, but this was more the fault of the paint store, as the paint they mixed was not up to their satisfactory. So for this I was happy that they do look at all the details to ensure things are perfect with the color. I would definitely look to use them again in the future.

Staff were more than patient with our two children, ages 4 and 5, whose undue curiosity resulted in a sabotaged cubby door downstairs. The painters were quite understanding, and to our relief, they were happy to sand and repaint the door at no additional cost. Overall, we found Your Edmonton Painters to have very competitive pricing. They were second cheapest out of the four estimates we received, and with the exception of our decision to revise the work order to include two additional rooms and a small cabinet, the final cost of the project was bang on the initial estimate. This came as a relief to my husband and I, as many of our renovations turned out to be more expensive than the original quote due to 'unforeseen complications' or additional cost of materials. Considering our experiences with other contractors, we found Your Edmonton Painters to be one of the best. I want my money back, but unfortunately they won't even return my calls! Jessi Molley seemed quite…read morenice at the beginning; however, they took the money and disappeared after leaving a mess! Another contractor had to be paid to completely rip out the tile floor they laid out and redo everything again. Jessi was quick to quote and take the job; however, we discovered after the fact that they had no idea about putting in sub-floors or how to mix cement and grout. We could literally tap out the tiles after they had finished their job because there was so little gluing the uneven tiles to the flooring. The grout they had put was washing and dusting out for days after the job was supposedly complete. They left the area dirty and messy and tracked mud everywhere. All and all an absolutely horrible job. We tried to reach out to them to come and fix the job, but either they promised and did not show or they had an excuse of some sort, and then they wouldn't even answer our phone calls. Beware if you give them a job.
