I have located a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport with zero miles at Gettel Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The listed price is $38,699. Nevertheless, the price provided to me was not accurate. The actual price offered by the dealer was $10,000 more than the listed Autotrader advertisement. In retrospect, I should have terminated negotiations at that juncture. Nevertheless, after several rounds of discussions, I affixed my signature to the contract. While in the finance department, Business Manager Brandyn Lortz notified me of an unpaid toll violation. I informed Brandyn that I had already settled the payment. The following morning, I contacted Sun Pass and was informed that while the first toll payment had been processed, the second toll invoice had not been sent to my address. I promptly paid the outstanding toll and forwarded the receipt to Brandyn via email. In the email, I kindly requested confirmation of receipt. On Friday, while getting my car windows tinted, I inquired with Brandyn about the status of my email. He appeared confused in what email I had sent, in the closing of my email , I request him to just let me.know he received it. I am deeply concerned about the treatment received by a customer who invested a substantial amount of $48,000 in their desired Jeep purchase. It is disheartening to witness such an experience, and I express my profound disappointment in the dealer's conduct. As of today, Monday, February 20, 2024, the installation of the strip, which was originally scheduled for Friday, has been completed. While in the waiting area, I had the opportunity to interact with Angiee, the customer care specialist. I believe I have thoroughly communicated all relevant information to her. I informed her about the price change and the unprofessional conduct of the business manager, Brandyn Lortz, who has not had the courtesy to respond to my email. After waiting for a few minutes for my Jeep to be refueled, Angiee introduced me to David Delson, and we proceeded to his office. David retrieved my transaction and attempted to clarify the toll violation. I must express my surprise and disappointment at the lack of response from Brandyn Lortz regarding my email inquiry. The subsequent discussion with David proved to be unproductive and time-consuming. As of today, May 21, 2024, I have not received an email confirmation from Business Manager Brandyn acknowledging receipt of my email with the attached receipt, which I sent last Thursday.. In conclusion, despite acquiring a satisfactory 2024 Jeep, the experience was marred by challenges and frustrations. In retrospect, I regret not honoring my scheduled appointment with Cape Coral Dodge Ram. As of today, Wednesday, May 22, 2024, I have not received a confirmation email for the paid receipt that I sent to Business Manager Brandyn. I am certain that there are satisfied customers who have made repeat purchases from this establishment. However, I must express my dissatisfaction with the treatment I received. In retrospect, I should have chosen Dodge of Cape Coral. I received a survey from Jeep Corporate, I'm going waiting a few days to complete the email survey I received from Jeep corporate. They said they ordered the new parts, yet 2 months later they say they received the wrong parts. Now, 6 months later they are saying they won't accept the warranty. They agreed to email me the contract on Sat morning so that I could docu sign and provide them with a down payment. Waited for the email for a couple of hours and when I didn't receive anything, I called and spoke with Paul. He said he was with a customer and would call me back. He never did. I was talked into getting a great deal on a 2024 GMC Sierra Denali pick up truck by a salesman at Gettel. I was told there was minimal water intrusion due to a cracked windshield during shipping, so the carpeting had been replaced. When I got home I found rust in the metal below the back seat. When I looked under the front seats there was also rust on the metal there up to about 5 or 6 inches high. I returned the "bargain" truck the next day, in an exchange for a full priced 2025 model. I was supposed to get ONE service call included in the price, which was supposed to include an oil change and tire rotation, within one year of purchase. When I tried to use it there was no phone number provided for the service, and I was steered to filling out a request form on the web site that included extra unwanted and overpriced services required in order to schedule an appointment. It was not optional. I replied to two emails from Gettel, and then made calls twice to the sales dept number, and left messages, which is the only phone number I could find on the website. I received NO replies, but started getting automated emails for scheduling service, and steered to the same upsale crap I had been dealing with. I have twice now requested to be removed from their email list, but they have not responded to these either. I wil NEVER buy anything from any Gettel dealer again. Buyer beware! Stay away. I took my 2013 Jeep Wrangler in because some warning lights were on in the dash a few months ago... They couldn't fix the problem that I brought it in for but they miraculously found $3600 worth of other stuff to charge me For. OK no problem so ever since I took it in I still have the same issue with the antilock brake system not working and now the cruise control doesn't work and they left some sort of control box hanging out of the dash on the passenger side. The control box is so hot that it burns you when you touch it. It can't be safe. I've informed them about this several times and the only thing they're willing to do is remount the control box so just today Was told to come in that they open at 7 o'clock, but after sitting in the service line for almost 20 minutes, no one even greeted me. Gettel Service will not honor warranty. I own a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has a life time powertrain warranty. For this warranty to remain in effect I needed to have the powertrain inspected every 5 years. My first inspection was done and recorded on my service record. My second inspection was done by Gettel but never reported to Chrysler by Gettel service department. Chrysler canceled my warranty. I provided Gettel proof (I saved the invoice) that the inspection was completed. They still won't honor the warranty. Very shady business practices. I recommend you do not go there. read more

My recent service experiences with Gettel Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram in Punta Gorda, Florida was less than satisfactory. The Assistant Service Manager - Russel Frye, gave me the "run around" with the service on 11/11/2023 for my Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. At my service date on 11/08/2023 he said that my service appointment on 11/11/23 would only take about 1 1/2 hours since I already had half of the service performed on my Jeep. When I took my vehicle in on 11/11/23 (8:30 AM) Russel than informed me that my Jeep wouldn't be ready until 1:00 PM, padding the time a little to give the technician extra time. Russel said that the service being done on my Jeep takes longer than the service for other customers so they are trying to get as many "quick" services in and out the door first. Russel also then said that they were down 2 techicians and that it would take longer to fix my vehicle. My time is just as valuable as any other customer. Other customers came and went while I waited. Russel clearly did not care about my customer satisfaction. I was not prepared to have to sit and wait for this long as it already takes me 1 hour to get to the dealership allowing for traffic. At 1:00 PM my vehicle still was not ready. Russell told me the same excuse for 1 1/2 hours longer that the technician was working on the alignment. I did not get out of the dealership until after 2:30 PM on 11/11/23. I had gotten into a recent crash so I needed to purchase a new vehicle (specifically a Ford Edge or a Ford Explorer). I inquired on maybe purchasing one with cash not finance because the accident wasn't my fault and I was taught to pay in cash if I have it. They promised to do a complete detail after they fix there mistake. They called me to pick up the car and they never cleaned the oil of my car. I took my 2018 Jeep wrangler JL ecoboost in this morning with a service light for the stop/start function which had failed.My service advisor was Matt. I explained that I thought it was possibly a problem with the auxiliary 48 volt lion battery which he stated the vehicle didn't have! I also said if it was bad it could be replaced free of charge as there is an eight year warranty on it which he said it didn't. One of the mechanics was stood there and heard this and confirmed what I had said! When I picked it up later he said it was the main 12 volt battery that was the problem and it would be cheaper for me to fit a new one.I paid the $204 diagnostic fee and took it to O'reilys and put in a new AGM battery for $247. Same problem. Took it back to Matt.He went off to consult someone and came back to explain that now there would be another couple of hundred bucks because it had to be plugged into a computer and driven round for an hour for the vehicle to "re-learn" the stop start function. I thought it best to leave before I hit some-one. When I got home I called the service manager at Venice Jeep who was super helpful and told me all that was needed was to clear the codes and drive it round a bit and all should be OK. I filled out info on line and was contacted by sales women and internet sales. Sales women confirmed price was 41,935 and made appointment to view jeep. Service Department Review. After reading some less than encouraging online reviews regarding the service department at this dealership, I was a bit concerned. However, I called and spoke with a friendly and approachable service representative to get a price estimate for a rather expensive scheduled service and decided to give them a chance. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a professional, friendly and helpful service adviser who went over my service needs, gave me a price estimate and confirmed he knew I would be waiting and my concern about an appointment mix-up was not going to be a problem. The waiting room had free coffee, free bottled water, and someone dropped a tray of cookies for us to have as well. The room was a comfortable place to wait. A friendly office worker walked by thanking us for bringing them our business and the courtesy driver stopped by to make sure no one needed a ride. The vehicle was returned to me about the time I would have expected it. I have been driving it for a week now and my $400 service needs appear to have all been performed well.
