Shari's team consists of not only a full service catering staff but also a team of experienced individuals and coordinators- which makes them an even better full service team to hire because they understand weddings and what is required for a successful event. Shari and her team went above and beyond to assure I had no worries at all! On top of this, the price was very reasonable!! The service included more than what we were quoted for elsewhere. We were able to offer the type of service we could only dream of providing. Water, wine and champagne were served table side. Our hors d'oeuvres were served on elegant platters by Shari's team. They placed all of the chargers, plates, cutlery, napkins and menus. They assisted wherever needed and assured everything was taken care of. I decided very last minute that I wanted a champagne welcome shelf for my guests and Shari's team executed this perfectly!! Shari's team worked gracefully with my wedding planner, caterer, and the events manager to make my wedding everything I envisioned. I would 100% hire Shari and her team again! One major issue was the lack of personal presence. Just three days before the wedding, Shari called to inform my sister that she would not attend due to a conflicting commitment to her granddaughter's 16th birthday. Although the contract stated Shari's presence was not guaranteed, she led my sister to believe she would be there to fulfill her vision for the day. Imagine the stress the bride felt upon hearing this news! My sister was overwhelmed with worry about whether the assistants would understand her vision as she had explained it to Shari during planning meetings. As someone with a background in high-end hospitality, I find this treatment of a client (especially a bride!) unprofessional and, frankly, mean. To add to the stress, my sister could not contact the assistants directly until the day before the wedding. While the assistants did a commendable job executing the wedding, some significant components were mishandled. The bridal party arrived at the bridal suite an hour before the ceremony was set to begin, fully ready after preparing at an Airbnb. However, just 30 minutes before the ceremony, one of the coordinators informed the bride that they were still figuring out how to get her out without the groom seeing her. This detail should have been sorted out earlier, ideally during the rehearsal. The ceremony, originally scheduled for 4 PM, did not start until 4:30 PM, which felt unacceptable. The wedding coordinator's primary role should be to ensure the schedule is followed. Additionally, we felt rushed despite waiting an hour in the bridal suite. At the ceremony site, the coordinators distributed bouquets but failed to bring the flower girl's basket, a cherished family heirloom. When this was pointed out, one coordinator dismissively stated, "Don't worry about it, we don't have time to go get it." This hurried feeling persisted into the reception. When it was time for the wedding party to enter the reception for our introductions, we were told last minute that we had to use a different entrance than what had been rehearsed due to a locked door. This lack of foresight caused confusion and disrupted the flow of the entrances. Although the wedding was absolutely magical and my sister had such thoughtful and beautiful touches throughout the ceremony and reception- there were elements that did not meet her expectations and her vision. She expressed disappointment about the dessert table, which Shari had promised would be stunning. While all the wedding guests thought it was a beautiful dessert display, if the bride wasn't satisfied with it- does it really matter what others think? The situation escalated when my sister wrote an honest review expressing her disappointment. Instead of addressing the issues professionally, Shari responded defensively and attacked my sister, even including false claims that she was an hour late to her own rehearsal!! This response felt shocking and unkind. Shari never apologized or reached out to my sister to discuss what went wrong. This wedding was especially emotional for our family, as the groom's father had passed away two months prior, and we were coping with the impending loss of our beloved aunt. It would have meant a lot if Shari had shown some compassion towards my sister, even if there were changes in plans. While no wedding is perfect, when hiring professionals, you expect warmth and respect. Given my experience, I cannot recommend Events by Wise." There are many other coordinators who will honor your special day with professionalism and kindness.

She was also super flexible--working with us to tweak cocktails based on guest allergies and letting us fully personalize the menu by renaming drinks to things meaningful to us (pet names, our wedding date, etc.) and creating a custom bar menu. It made the whole experience feel extra special and very us. Pro tip: get the add-ons. The syrups/juices, hydration station (especially clutch for non-drinkers), and having them handle cups and ice is 1000% worth it. That is the last thing you want to be thinking about on your event day, and they made it completely seamless. They also arrived early to set everything up, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. And Margie?? An absolute rockstar. She said that Hanniballs has a rat infestation in the upper storage area above where they stored linens and canned foods. It was almost unbelievable until the server stated that she wasn't going to work there anymore unless the company fixed the rodent and health hazard. I could tell it disgusted her, rightfully so. I cringed thinking about my family and friends eating rat feces. The server wouldnt eat any of the food, when she refused I knew it was serious. I asked if f she knew how serious of violation that would be. She told me that the company has already been shutdown for cockroaches last year. Olga I believe or Lydiawas that they have their manager Paul , setting traps every morning and sweeping the poop and any dead rats up. I almost thought she was joking but I could tell from her reaction that she was embarrassed. And don't blame the server even though I was really mad at the time, i think I'm more mad now because they are still serving rat poop food. When I looked into the company further, it looks like they were shutdown just last year for cockroaches. What's even more infuriating is that I was told aDepartment shuts this business down for the 2nd year in a row!! It was shutdown last year because of cockroaches and cockroach eggs in their walk in fridge. I somehow missed they were shutdown for health code violations just last year 2025 for cockroaches infestation . I would not have booked have I know this disgusting information.! Then it was brought to my attention the cockroaches were last year and this years guests of the restaurant were RATS!!!!! Yes I said infestation of RATS!!!! I thought I hated cockroaches, they have nothing on the Rats eating though ingredient bags helping themselves to a snack and pooping everywhere. I was told this straight from employee mouth that actual actively cleaning up the rat poop daily. Yes I said daily, all while the kitchen continues to make your tri-tip and just brushes feces away or off the product to use. No problem right?? The General Manager who was named( Paul, I'm not positive about his name I just know he is really tall 6'6 and bald, very goofy looking and totally unapproachable). It was his job ( Paul the GM and was forced by owner) to daily set traps and pick up the dead rats from around warehouse and sweep up any feces he could find. Was told this was his morning routine per the owner request instead of hiring professionals that could fix problem in a day. That would required spending money. They have unwrapped tri-tip just sitting out cooling on speed rack . The rats live right above this area. The probability that someone ate rat turds with thier tri-tip is absolute!! Hanniballs catering "Rats and cockroaches served compliments of the owner Phil" Health Department Shutdown Business for several safety violations with the most serious cockroach infestation with lava eggs. The owner of Hanniballs was told he had 3 days fix violations and UNTIL these violations were amended and resolved the business must halt all operations. I included the photo saying why company was shut down per health department. The owner Phil Paw waited for Health department to leave, turned the ovens right back on and sent out several parties with food and beverage after he was just told minutes prior to halt all operations and sales. That party definitely got some extra protein Via rat poop. Please call health department immediately!!!!!!!!!!!

They have so many packages to cater to any of your needs and can even customize a package for you. Their cocktails are also high end, taste delicious, and even look beautiful! One of my favorite cocktails is a dragonberry mojito at a local restaurant we frequent, so when I brought this up to Alyson, she ran with it and purchased a dragonfruit just for our tasting. It was so delicious and cute! They make all their own syrups and can provide literally everything (juices, garnishes, ice, cups, straws, etc.), besides the actual alcohol. It was so convenient. We also had a Kentucky Mule and Classic Margarita. We also purchased beer kegs since their bars have a built-in tap system/kegerator. Our wedding day would not have been the same without the Black & Tan. It was meant to be at our venue! Our guests are still raving about the bar (drinks and the bar itself) and the service.
