We…read morepurchased a nice leather sofa 2 1/2 years ago which arrived 5 months later with the legs broken off (all of them!) As we waited months to get them replaced, the reclining mechanism on one end broke so we requested that be repaired. I'll spare you all the details over the last 2 years but they've replaced reclining mechanisms 4 times with anther one waiting for repair. When I've spoken with customer service they've said they won't talk compensation until everything is repaired. I finally said we need to talk compensation. Their representative was going to put in a claim to the manufacturer and said we have a good case. Well the manufacturer doesn't make that sofa any longer (I wonder why?) and said they wouldn't offer compensation as the sofa is now beyond the warranty period!!! So, here's what they will do - they will replace the mechanism - for FREE, including parts and labor AND they'll give me $150 for all the time I've spent waiting for service people to repair this piece of s---! What a deal, huh? This morning I told them I don't want compensation for my time I want compensation for a sofa I spent $3500 on and has NEVER been in new condition. I've worked in retail, my hubby runs a retail business...I would NEVER treat a customer like this. Word to the wise...from someone who wasn't: don't shop at Hom. If you do, don't let them push you out of your warranty. I fully expected they would be fair to me. Please spread the word!!

Over time this too shall pass, and we are enjoying the sectional we ordered from them Labor Day... finally. I give four stars for being so up front before purchasing and for proactively trying to speed up delivery.

Called and Cassandra advised this is the couch on my invoice, yet I have the dimensions sheet from the manager the day I ordered showing exactly what is in the video. I am not happy, to say the least. - finally got a call back and the manager told me I said the full couch wouldn't fit (NEVER SAID THAT I was ecstatic it WOULD fit) so she only ordered what's pictured. I am in complete disbelief. Waiting to hear back when they are going to return the couch I paid them to remove today and take this back and refund me. Oh and all the tags on this couch are Ashley Furniture. Spread the word. More back story - Ordered my couch months ago, told me delivery would be April, didn't hear from them again, call and they say it will be delivered May 15 it's coming upon may 15 no word. I call them, again, they say early June, then say no pieces are in. Asked them to look into since I'd previously been told we were waiting on ONE piece. They said they'd call me back, never did. So again I call, they said they'll reach out to get that piece expedited. This has been an AWFUL experience and I would not recommend them to anyone!!! This is the $2,000 couch I purchased according to them...

Worst experience I have ever had. I would give negative stars if it was an option. I paid extra for…read morewhite glove delivery and the warranty. I set up delivery for 1/31. The delivery went fairly smoothly except for one drawer from the bed I ordered was broken and unusable. The delivery people said they submitted a claim right away and it would be delivered 2/11. On 2/11 I sent a message saying that I hadn't heard anything about delivery and was wondering if there was a status update. The rep I talked to said that I could expect delivery that Friday aka 2/13. That day comes and goes with no information. I the talk to another rep on the 18th that says the item should ship on the 20th so I should message back that day to find out more information. I message back on the 20th and am told that the claim wasn't processed until the 6th which I was told it was done the 31st. I was then told that shipping time should be 1-2 weeks and they will give me a 15% discount off of one item for the inconvenience. The next day get an email saying that the part now isn't expected until mid April. It is currently the 6th, still haven't gotten the discount that was supposedly applied and have heard nothing regarding delivery or an update. They also sent me emails that l should reply to however they haven't answered me for over two weeks. The lack of communication in this company is astounding and frankly a 15% discount is not enough considering purchased brand new furniture, white glove delivery, and a warranty and haven't gotten any of this fully fulfilled. I highly suggest ordering from ANYWHERE else.
